AZ was always Good to Me.

Imagine the 90's alumni going back in the field and selling for 6 months. We would double sales/share performances for our products! We were the best sales force in pharma history! Plus, we would gladly drive the Bolt EV. AZ was super to me!!!!
You are so right!! Wish our current sales force had the determination, grit, and skills to sell like we did.

I started in the late 90s and I hate to tell you you would be lost….field metrics, physician metrics, hospital systems with National no see/sample policies, iPads, car trackers, young managers that only know how to manage to metrics, compliance (program, lunches, sunshine etc….) Younger prescribers, medical schools who have made our industry into the Antichrist. I could go on and on, but your sales success would not be “welcome” here. Those were truly better days when your relationships could make a difference and a lunch was not required. Heathcare has changed and our industry has caused a lot of the damage.

Sadie Hawkins dances and floats and malts at the soda shop while we did the Twist to Chubby Checker and the Mash Potato to Dee dee Sharp. These kids don’t understand. I have a cigarette pack in my rolled up T-shirt sleeve right now.

Truly better times for sure. I realize the above was satirical but today's pharma sales model and strategies are doomed. The hyper-focus by SW, Joris, etc on OMNI is misguided. All those things are just tools. Thats it, nothing more. They have no real ability to change a behavior. Only people can do that and only those people that are very good at what they do (clinically and selling skill wise). Become THE resource.

You don’t know what you’re talking about

Yep, AZ is very good company. I have over $1,000,000 in 401k plus health ins. until 65...thanks again for taking care of your employees. You show me a REP that complains all the time and I will show you a FRUITCAKE!

All the music references are great. Love most of these bands, but let’s face it, AZ sucks ass. We got paid to fuck off - and there’s something to be said for that - but AZ was and is a soulless corporation with dumbasses in “leadership” roles.

Maybe current AZ is soulless but our AZ was filled with great managers and hard working field reps. We built a big pharma company and are proud of our accomplishments. AZ was good to me and my family!
