Average Comp?

You made that up. Its glassdoor. Its not like you have to dig through fine print to see who is making what. The Highest I found was 178k. So, stop with the BS. you never looked.
153 Salaries at Neurocrine Biosciences Shared by Employees | Glassdoor

By all means, look through them again. I looked through every single salary listed. The highest for any of the sales positions is $146k-$156k base with total comp being $186k-$203k. That being said, I do know someone brought on at $160k recently.

100% correct for new hire salaries. Hell tons of Teva peeps jump here in 140s base. Teva paid them 120s so they are pumped to be here in 140s.

Speak for yourself hotshot. I was one of those "Teva Peeps" who came over here for the extra $20K and now realize that it was all smoke and mirrors with the personal car usage. After its all said and done, my total comp package at Teva would have been better, not to mention the benefits here aren't even close to what I had there. Now if I can only live with the fact that my customers wonder why I'm selling against my old product.

nobody to blame but yourself son. Chalk it up as a careless career move.

155 to 165 can be secured for the right candidate. But with the soul less leadership team there is a price to be payed. Seriously there is no concern for anyone, especially the patients. Check out “the tigers new stripes” if you want a window into the world of Neurocrine.

This right here is exactly right. I realize how attractive compensation sounds to people coming from other companies but at around the 2 year mark you’ll realize that you sold your soul for it.

None of this really matters once Neurocrine is sold off and broken up by upcoming mergers and acquisitions. Those who came over here in the past 6-8 months will be so highly priced out of the market with unrealistic views of what they think they're worth, it will be laughable.

Nobody priced out the market at this company you fool. It’s chicken seed pay here compared to real specialty/biotech companies. Dummy

Don't be hating', you're just jelly.

Of course you cracked the case. Whenever somebody posts something that’s not company koolade the genius mgr serves up the age old reply……. You’re not good enough to work here. Of course they’re not worthy.

Ah true. Only the top hand picked talent from avanir is good enough to carry the bag here.

The guy who recently left the company I work at said he just got 100K sign on bonus. I don't believe it. Is that true? If not, what is the avg sign on?

It's hard to say now a days with today's job market. I know two people that came here and got $33k and another that got $40k coming from teva. One was compensated for her vested 401k money to come over and the other was a high performer we gave money too because he had vested money and bonuses he would lose if he came over. Plus in today's job market if you are recruiting from other companies, you will have to pay additional money up front to have them leave. I mean the company came after them, it's not like the person came to the company looking for a job. So, we had to of offer them more money and signing bonuses

You mean had to offer these poor souls sign-on bonuses because our 401K match sucks and people coming over here know that they will loose out on future company match.
None of this really matters anyways. Neurocrine will be sold before the end of the year and all these over paid, newly hired reps will be out of jobs at the start of 2023.

I don't know about all that. But if you are recruiting reps from another company before there vested period is up, reps will need more incentive to leave. Plus a smart person will ask for money upfront because they need to buy a car. I mean if I was a rep from teva being recruited by neurocrine, I would be asking for all sorts of money since they came to me and I already have a job.
