Average Comp?

i was told by manager that around $40k in RSUs were given at year end. Is that accurate? Also, what’s the average percentage yearly raise? I was told it was higher than most places, whatever that means. I’m sure I will get some BS answers from the person who says that Teva and Anavir reps got salaries in the $170s and $180s, but it’s worth a shot to ask for an honest answer from someone.
I’ll suck up the terrible car situation if the RSUs and raises are good. People buy cars online from all over the country now. Aside from a little variance for taxes/fees, there shouldn’t be much of one in the allowance, but it seems that there is a large one. A variance in mileage for gas, of course, but not for the allowance. .

Ask your qualified zone manager. If it’s Anyone like Denise P they’ll have your back.

I came from Pfizer. I posted the $177 a few days ago. I don't know what the annual increase is. I did not ask. But most companies follow the rate of inflation. Granted with inflation as high as it is I would doubt we get a 2-4% increase. But don't expect 7-9% either. Lol! The car situation is going to be rough. Especially as prices keep going up

Um, I would be shocked if they brought someone over at that high of a base. With RSUs included, yes. I would hope to God that no one is dumb enough to post where they came from and salary on here. Makes it pretty easy to identify. Hell, there are maybe 2 people on LinkedIn that came from Pfizer directly. Yes, you can search by present and past company.

Not really. I think you are trying to hard to make anyone who says something you dont agree with a fool. Fact is many people came over here with inflated salaries. Neurocrine recruited people from other companies offering them higher salaries with no vehicle during a time of rapid inflation. Not to mention at a time where people would have to sacrifice annual/quarterly bonuses and give up vested 401ks. So, If previous reps were making 130-150 a year or two ago with neurocrine and the company is now trying to take talent away from other companies (assuming top performing talent) in todays markets, I can easily see them paying as much as 170-180k bonus since that is keeping up with at 8% rate of inflation and increased costs of transportation.

As for the comment from that one guy being from Pfizer. Who knows. He could have come from Teva or Lilly or something. We do not know if he is posting the truth about where he came from. But when you look at all the posts on salaries, he does fall in line with what is being mentioned on here and glassdoor. So, I am leaning towards believing him or her.

But you have to take it easy on the Neurocrine bandwagon . You cant keep attacking everyone that has something negative to post about your company. Neurocrine is not the greatest company in the world

Very true. I also think the person on here attacking everyone is probably the same person posting how they are coming from a post office gig to Neurocrine. I dont think she knows what she is talking about and is afraid of thinking she is undervalued. You made a good point about inflation too. Companies are paying more for people right now. It is an employee market....for now. We will see how long it will last.

haha employee market eh? There are tons of pharma layoffs going on and lots of desperate reps looking to get a paycheck. Companies won’t over pay for pharma reps when they have the pick of the litter to select from.

No, I wasn’t the person that posted that or anything else. I think that Neurocrine seems like good company. Everywhere has its problems. I have a difficult time believing 170k-180k since I have 3 friends who just came over as reps. 2 are part of the neuro team and 1 is part of LTC. None are over 160k I have 1 friend that turned it down because they wouldn’t go over 160k despite 20 years in the industry over a decade of psych and multiple years of selling an injectable biologic. The person made a higher base at their current role, too. They did offer them RSUs in the 60k-80k range, though. Plus, the the posts were one person saying 175, then one saying 176, then 177. What are the chances of that? Lol! Maybe they offer higher bases based on where you live. None of the people I know live in the more expensive areas in the country, so that could be it.
