Well said. By the way, has anyone submitted their travel expenses for reimbursement? With such little communication post interview, makes me wonder how long it will take to be reimbursed for travel. My flight wasn’t cheap.

I did last Friday. Nothing yet. Not too worried. I think people are overreacting a bit. I was told offers this Friday.

I interviewed last week in Chicago and have not heard anything except a couple responses to my thank you emails.

No, but it helped me make final decision to go to Gilead. Was not impressed with two of the managers. This, along with the lack of communication in hiring process cemented it for me.

Thank you for the info. I’m trying to weigh pros and cons while I wait to hear back from them. Winter shutdown is a perk I’m not sure I’d be willing to part with unless money was right. I value the time I get to spend with my family. Life is short.

Sign on bonuses are meant to sweeten the pot when the pot is not sweat enough. If you receive an offer here you won’t need a sign on bonus trust me.

An arrogant RBD working hard to convince people this isn’t a very risky proposition with a compensation plan that shifted dollars from benefits to salary to lure simple people into joining up months before argenx is taken over. Nice to meet you.

I absolutely get where you are coming from. On the other hand though, they were conducting panel interviews this week as well. You probably noticed in Chicago, they had the HR folks running around shuffling candidates from room to room and keeping everything organized and on track. I’m not sure when the HR team would possibly have the time to make offers right now.

could not agree more. Because there is a laundry list of indications down the pike, folks feel this is a company that will last forever. What they fail to realize is Argenx will be purchased and chopped up amongst a J&J/Pfizer type company never to be seen from again. This will happen within a year post launch. Why anyone is going to this company all smiles is beyond me…especially the idiots leaving Alexion where they’re making huge $$$ and leaving huge $$$ on the table in terms of stock and equity. Wish you all luck, but this opportunity is a HUGE pass for me.
