Any updates on 6122- Lilly Diabetes?

OK, but in all seriousness does anyone need some Cialis 2.5mg? Its really taking up too much room in our dining room.

We had a conference call Friday and my manager said since our incentive checks have been delayed the last few quarters, we can supplement our nonexistent income and bundle a few sample paks together and sell them in the bars Friday night. Hope this helps.

Should I cancel my MYD for tomorrow? I thought we had to have 12 per quarter... Balk! Balk! Or was it 1 or 2 or 3 or every single day so we could see the ROI?? Balk Balk

That is the biggest joke of all. How will they manage when they have no idea the challenges of the market? Maybe, that is the point. They will push and push the reps to try and do the impossible. This is such a joke. Those managers are going to have a real eye opener. HA! HA!

That contract is doomed and I don't pity them one bit the way we were all treated.

Look- I understand this completely. This, however is simply a place for all of us to vent and have some fun, so don't take things too seriously. I have met Dan on several occasions and will say he is a very nice and honest guy. The contract business is to blame- we all are forced to survive and fend for ourselves, and I have learned not to take things personally.

Yes, I would have to agree with this. I was on the 8822 contract from start to finish. Enjoyed it while it lasted. Met Dan a few times and he's just a salesperson like the rest of us. I moved on and found a gig in small pharma. One rep per territory just like someone in here said. It's actually a pretty good deal. Not a lot of idiotic reports. Same basic perks. Company car, benefits, etc. No district meetings which, after all, were a huge waste of time and money. But, a hell of a lot of fun!!

Wish I could roll the clock back and do it all over again. Had a blast with the gang from NovaQuest!!

Why would Lilly Diabetes Reps/Mgrs be on the Labopharm contract??????

They do not have experience with anti-depressents.

This is a really idiotic comment. First this thread had nothing to do with the labo contract. Second most of the reps on 6122 had prior pharma experience (including myself) I have sold Buspar and Paxil. So fuck off with your stupid generalizations

Yeah, the ROI for the MYD's was just outstanding--place sarcasm here. All, I know is my CDE is getting pissed because she's been doing MYD's since October and hasn't been paid yet! I keep telling her the check is in the mail and what Big Danny always told us: "Take care of today and tomorrow will take care of itself"! Balk!! Balk!!

I am enjoying this. I was on the Lilly 8822 contract and we were royally screwed over. I have fortunately moved on to another pharma company and I no longer feel like a temp whom will have to keep interviewing every 2-5 years. We were given the 6 month extension last summer and I considered that to be my severance. I started looking on Aug 1, 2009 and it took me about 9 months to find another gig. Quintiles promised to hire back 85% of the sales force that was cut loose. To date, about 8% have been rehired on this 6385 CNS contract. Very few DM's were even considered. I went to an interview with some new DM who had been let go from another pharma company. Quintiles is such a joke and if you are still with them... my advice is to stick it to them and my only regret is I didn't run up a bigger tab on them while i was there.

O.k....That's pretty funny stuff! Well done. :) God, they had some idiots running that gig: From Captain Kangaroo D. Urinal, Carl "It Gives Me Wood To Send Out Spreadsheets" Buschman, Jim "I'm generally just a bitter Douche Keith to most of the less-than-stellar D.M.'s. It's really no wonder that the contract wasn't renewed!

P.S. to "Zero Tolerance" Keith: That sweet Hawaian shirt you wore to almost every meeting (multiple times) is NOT considered business casual. Man, what a pin-dick that guy is....

I too was on 8822 but do not feel I was royally screwed. I know we were told they would try to place 85% of us. I saw the industry as a whole was changing and felt it was going to be nearly impossible for Quintiles to find places for all of us. People need to realize pharma will never be the same and move on. If you land a job, consider your self lucky. There are so many of us out there who wont be able to return because there are no spots anywhere, not just Quintiles.
