Any updates on 6122- Lilly Diabetes?

I'm with Quintiles and get easily confused by the contract numbers so forgive me, but just for the sake of my own sanity, isn't 6122 the Lilly diabetes contract that ended in December? Kudos for the humorous thread if in fact this is the case, just wondering if I'm more out of touch than I originally thought. Thanks.

You are correct and that's a very valid question. 6122 was the Lilly Diabetes contract that ended at the end of 2009.
 






SUCCESS STORY!!! I went into an office yesterday and used the Donatuci Reprint and as I was explaining to the HCP that it was a study of a study of a study of a study of a study of a study of a study of a study of a study which basically had the same results as the oirginal study -He proceded to bitch slap me which got me excited and we used the product to get it on!!! I'm pretty sure I will see an increase in scripts from this HCP?

That is great and you are "spot on" with your successful utilization of such a valuable selling tool.

I guess we shouldn't have been too surprised as to the "value" of such a useful reprint--considering Lilly never was given it. We were the only ones priviledged enough to have the honor of using the study of a study of a perspective of an analysis of a study that analyzed the previous studies and gave us no useful information.
 


















I heard that talks have begun with GSK over an exciting flu medication. bonus structure is decent although capped, but there is a chance that the contract will end early and then your bonus will not be furnished to you, and then all communication from the company will cease. I am looking forward to this one! Who's with me??!!

WTF!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!??????!!!??! I'VE BEEN OUT IN THE FIELD TRYING TO UNLOAD MY CIALIS 2.5MGS FOR 6 F*&@ING MONTHS!!!!!!! NOW I KNOW WHY I HAVEN'T BEEN GETTING A PAYCHECK AND NO COMMUNICATIONS FROM MY MANAGER!!!!! I FEEL LIKE SUCH AN IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it sounds promising. But, only if we are NOT provided samples or a lunch/access budget. Then, I'm ALL IN. Balk!

Yeah....Sigh....I feel pretty stupid, too. :-( I got off the phone with HR today and they told me I haven't technically been employed since Dec. 31. I guess when things appear too good to be true--no emails, no voicemails, no ride-alongs, no conference calls, no pointless admin assignments--they usually are. I actually was able to go out and sell for a few months without Zero Tolerance Jimmy or Carl "I have a small penis" Buschman bugging me with mindless firedrill paperwork. Damn........
 






Just a reminder for those still out in the field

Under NO circumstances are you to enter in a Byetta call. Lilly management is VERY upset that this is still happening. From this point forward you WILL BE TERMINATED without exception. You people have been doing this long enough you should know better by now. Lets stay focused, keep our eyes on the prize.

Even if you are still on vacation people, I still need you to sync that computer each and every day. If not internet access is available, go to an internet cafe that has wi-fi. No, you cannot expense that. Also, do not sync before 5:30 as you are expected to be in the field!
 












Vaguely remember a conference call in November when Dan was choking on something (Know it wasn't Daryl cause he wasn't on the call.) and Dan said if worse comes to worse severence hasn't been deceided yet. No worries. Know Quintiles will take care of us cause Dan is such an honorable man.

It is so sad that even to this day, people are still blaming Dan for their whoa's. Yes, I remember him saying that it was the goal to place 85% of the displaced reps. Well, my friend if there isn't any work to be had then we are all S out of Luck. If you haven't noticed unemployment is sky high. Not to mention that in our industry share of voice is old school. One rep, one territory is becoming the norm. So with that being said, fewer pharm jobs will be available. Keep in mind that once 6122 and 8822 ended Dan has become displaced (still believe he gets a paycheck) I would think he is diligently looking for opportunities so he can keep his position and find jobs for those that are displaced.

Look- I understand this completely. This, however is simply a place for all of us to vent and have some fun, so don't take things too seriously. I have met Dan on several occasions and will say he is a very nice and honest guy. The contract business is to blame- we all are forced to survive and fend for ourselves, and I have learned not to take things personally.
