Wrong at that time Tutogen and RTI were 2 separate entities. Zimmer was being supplied solely by Tutogen when the recall occurred. I was at Zimmer when this occurred.

What are you talking about? During both recalls, 1 under the Tutogen name and 1 under the RTI name, ZIMMER NEVER OWNED PUROS!!!! RTI Tutogen has and always will own Puros. Zimmer is the distributor you fucking nitwit.

P.S. In case anyone forgot wht we're really doing here, the new trabecular metal implants are breaking upon insertion.

Surgeons tend to ask for a few small benefits from any implant system when they use it, and one of the tiny requests they usually start with is, oh I don't know, that THEY DON'T SNAP IN HALF at any point in the process.

I guessing the Zimmer design team is in a conference room somewhere being chewed out for this minor faux pas that spells disaster for the company with no history of making new dental implants on their own. Right now, Gerry Niznick is driving down the highway singing "Free Falling" along with Tom Petty at the top of his lungs in response to the news.
