Anesthesia and Emergency Positons

I am a rep that sells glidescope and 2 if my accounts just switched to mac
But just let u know we r coming out with new pricing 1k for a glidescope with a trade in of your junk
Lol have fun making 100k

I have 15 yrs medical sales experience and have been asked to interview for the airway division. I'm familiar with CafePharma and how oftentimes it's disgruntled or sarcastic folks responding.

Can you tell me realistically is this a good position? Or is it truly considered entry-level? And not making $120K+? I am currently employed but not happy, but I certainly don't want to take a step backwards or a parallel move when I can stay where I am until I find a job I will truly enjoy. Thanks for your input!

I heard GS is raising their price by 15%
And quotas by 20%.
I have a friend who works for verathon and he said he is losing business to cmac all the time
Not sure what the difference is but he is looking for a job right now.

$1k still isn't worth it. There is a new GlideScope recall every few months... who would want that plastic piece of junk?

Well, if they drop one of our Mac blades it breaks instantly and is not covered under warranty, costing them THOUSANDS of dollars to replace (almost $5k to be exact). I'm not supporting gs by ANY means, but just sayin. That was kind of a stupid question.

Dropped many cmac blades. Never had one break. Had customers send in damaged blade and it was covered under warranty. Plus replacement blades do not sell for list price. Finally, every customer of mine would gladly pay for a replacement cmac blade than go back to gs. If not its pretty clear that you haven't given them a compelling reason to continue to purchase from you.

Yep. Charlotte rep... She was rep of the year last year. Wonder where she went.

No surprise. Once you've sold a maximum amount and become Rep of the year, there's nothing left but a double-size quota and nobody left to sell to. This is no surprise. Anyone know what company she moved on to? I would like to explore what's out there for us coming from Airway. Did she stay in an "Anesthesia" level or move to another specialty?

Yup, now their will be 2 openings... Just heard. Hurry up and NOT tell your friends about these "great opportunities!"

I think the word is pretty spread out about this sh#tty division. Won't take much research for applicants before they see the culture here. But you never know, maybe someone can come in to our division and sell these amazing disposables. (snicker =))

I think ML will be fried at the end of Q4, obviously. Will someone take his place or will they just have the VP (whomever that may end up being at the end of the year) be over us?

Please tell me that Bill Wise has "seeked opportunities elsewhere." There is NO way he is still in sales of ANY form, right??
