After 6 months, I can honestly say this place

BMS prides itself on the allusion of progress, ability, and competence. Hidden behind the curtain - well not so hidden actually - BMS possesses a lack of innovation, hubris, stupidity, dated technology; ass kissing, back stabbing, petty, people; and in general has a complete and total lack of understanding of modern day marketing. Stagnant.

Couldn’t have said it better, and more truthful than that!

This is a 500 foot home run.

Yes, they all suck! AZ, GSK, etc. Even worked for smaller pharma and they suck, too. It’s the industry. The people being promoted are inept and try to justify their jobs. Then they bring in their idiot cronies and make us miserable. Need good teammates or at least a few you can trust and a decent boss.

“Day of rest”?

Be A Mess has been paying me to rest for months now. Why make it official.

This place is Be a MesS. I am so glad to be long gone and retired from the lunacy and rear end kissing. If anyone did come critical research on this place it reminds me of the fictional company named Hooli on Silicon Valley series.

Very well said! You’ve described the entire pharmaceutical industry. Once drug prices become more controlled, we’ll see a major consolidation of the industry……and they’ll continue to do business the same old, tired, way that doesn’t work in today’s healthcare
industry that is as money hungry as Pharma.

Worked for BMS for many years. While I am appreciative of the financial benefits if work off there, I started resenting the robotic nature I saw it becoming. I have since moved on to another company that is eerily following suit. I guess it’s the industry standard now. If I get squeeze two or three more years out of this career I will gladly yet gratefully say adios and ride off into the sunset.

I am with you brother! I am still at BMS and the prospect of 36 more months with these lunatics is not appealing. BMS is not the place looking to cure cancer. It is the cancer.

I cannot speak about other organizations except that many of my old colleagues that have moved on are bitter with this industry. The people making the decisions seem to be less intelligent/experienced than their predecessors, and the people tasked with implementing decisions are as motivated as a sloth.

Pharma glory days are gone. BMS glory days are long, long gone.

36 months is now looking like 18...
