After 6 months, I can honestly say this place

How dumb are you? 3 year vesting is better than most companies, and you know some of it vests each year, right? So when you can't make the cut and bail, you get to take some of those funds with you.

Keep in mind the 3 year vesting only applies to the company MATCH. The company’s annual automatic contribution of 3%, 4.5%, or 6% is still on a 5 year vesting schedule.

Yikes.

The additional contribution is a non-standard benefit and SHOULD be subject to additional vesting. That being said, it still partially vests annually, so if you bounce in year 3, you'll take 60% of the free money you did nothing to earn.

Our 401k is standard, however, our other retirement plan is substandard. Other companies contribute 8-12% annually to their modified "pension" fund. That being said, I wouldn't trade our culture for the better benefits if it meant more stress. I realize pharma is pharma, but subtle differences in companies can make a difference in mental health and wellbeing. Exfoliate me if you want, but this is a pretty good place to be.

Great place for mediocre work, mediocre management and mediocre pay.

All in all, it is mediocre pharma. Just ask Gio.

Ok

Exfoliate yourself and Circle Back !

is toxic. Much more focus on activity and appearance than performance. Too much top down command structure. Not enough accountability and willingness to take on risk. I will not be here in 6 more months.

good for you.
I knew this about 6 months in to my pharma gig in 2000, yes, 22 years ago.

I was stubborn and stuck it out for over a decade. That was a terrible decision. But, I made some money, but lost myself in the process, because it is truly a disgraceful industry....

What other industries do you know make billions of dollars in profit, yet, continually downsize TOP PERFORMERS, year in and year out?

None.

But, this industry does it every year...

But, like the greats say "a sucker is born every minute"...and the pharmaceutical industry has their new crop of college graduates every year to choose from. These college suckers don't understand that their a better industries out there that actually treat you with respect and have plenty of upside to give you advancement and most importantly, job stability, which is crucial to your physical, mental and spiritual health and well-being.

Poison? LOLOLOLOLOL. If you're a 'healthy' cancer patient who can withstand the increased toxicity, there's nothing better. If not, the doc can prescribe O only, or Opduolag if melanoma. This shit isn't that hard, how are you idiots tasked with 'selling' drugs?

wow what a kool aid drinker. ipi is poison and if you doubt this why has the “regimen” failed so badly vs keytruda + chemo?

Here are some ways to tell a flatterer from a true working 'friend'.
  1. Opinion conformity. A sycophant imitates your tastes and opinions, often sharing your opinions enthusiastically. ...especially if I am viewed as "above" her or "useful" to her.
  2. Fashion Stockers. This is a subtype of mimickers. ...look for these visual signs.
  3. Self-promotion. ...
  4. Other enhancement. ...
  5. Kiss up, kick down. ... emphasis on public kissing and private kicking.
  6. Disagree on small points. Oh, but they look like they've really have a point of dissension, not.
And these are our Directors and Regional managers?
