After 6 months, I can honestly say this place

Can anyone provide insights about how the working conditions are in quality control at their Devens, MA facility.
Thanks in advance

In my 20 years in the industry working up from the bench, this is the worst corporate culture I have been a part of.

Talent leaving in droves: both hCelgene and hBMS, and across many departments. People still working round the clock, many juggling 2, 3, or more FTE worth of work... giving free time and energy to this leviathan.

Nonstop wokeness and empty "we care about you" vibes, constant restructuring, endless responsibility shifting. Bunch of chuckleheads who are adept in nothing more than vapid corporate buzzword speak and prime ass eating rise to the top.

Whoever is sticking around - whether they are running out the clock to retire or drank too much of the kool aid, remain with no motivation... because it doesn't matter whether you do your job well or put in extra hours, things are gonna suck either way.

BMS and the nasty management team (toxicity) need a dose of reality.

A one way ticket to the depths of hell is not good enough for these sociopathic drones.

OP....

sorry to hear about your situation.

Unfortunately, all of us have been through this. Its not just BMS, its the corporate culture that exists within ALL of corporate America.

We are not living in a meritocracy. Its just another good old girls and boys club, where beer drinking and hooking is encouraged and rewarded.

Wish I knew this when I was younger. Just make your transition as smooth as possible, and don't be afraid to downsize your lifestyle, if necessary. The trinkets you get from money is not worth losing your essence. Many people choose the trinkets and just get lost, and do things that are unethical. Worse, they develop a bad network and become corporate monsters, Snakes in Suits, if you will.

Hang in there, and just laugh your ass off at the joke of this world.

I applaud you for recognizing this industry for what it truly is. Tells me that you are headed in the right direction in life. Never lose those critical thinking skills and I wish you the best !

I can assure you AstraZeneca culture is the worst! Unfortunately, corporate politics exists at nearly every company.

Toughen UP Karen/Kevin!

Well these BMSholes really wear you out and beat you into submission. You have three choices. 1) Join the cult where wokeness and everything being sunshine and rainbows is all that is acceptable, 2) Leave and find another job far away from this place. 3) Play their game (Sr Mgmt isn’t too smart) check their boxes, create a lot of fake calls, and work your side hustle.

I choose 3 for now. My manger has a side hustle going too, so as long as they’re my boss, I get away with all of the double dipping I want!!
