I like her as a person, but she is not a good manager. She has no pulse on what is actually happening in her region. She is fed a lot of BS just so the other reps keep her off their backs. When will JNJ cut her loose? She is getting the shit beat out of her by the competition - but she refuses to change her malicious ways of managing her people and her accounts. Personally, I don't want to see her get let go - but it is inevitable.
Does anyone respect any of the managers? Heard from a former rep that JNJ is sending surveys asking why turnover is high, production is low and asking specific questions about managers motivation level, how much help they are, do accounts like them, and does the region/area like the manager. Hahah RL should be shitting his pants.
J&J ruined the company when they purchased us. We had a good thing and they cut our pay and the culure blows now. J&J ruins everything becuase they think they are the be all end all and nobody really respects them-too cocky. Turnover is high because fo you J&J-admit it...you stink!

The whole problem with this company is Pat Fabian. Pat manages Acclarent like he is managing 25 year olds at US Surgical back in the glory days. The culture that they have created at Acclarent is absolutely the worst curlture in the medical device industry. Perhapas, any company for that matter. Acclarent says that they hire tenured, experienced sales professionals and let them run their own business... That is funny. Every second of their day is micromanaged with Weekly Reports, Call-Ins, Quarterly Reports, Three-Day Co-Travels, Quarterly Reviews, etc. Not to mention that the quotas are now unattainable for 95% of the sales forece. Out of 22 Regions for the second quarter, the top Region is at 98% to plan, the fifth place Region is at 74% to plan and the tenth place Region is at 64% to plan and the other twelve are below that. Yet Acclarent is apparently going to turn in another "record quarter". Pat will continue to pound on everyone in the organization and brow beat the shit out of them for how horrible of a job they are doing. Management continues to threaten everyone with "warning letters" and "corrective actions" for not hitting their unattainable quotas while the operating board high fives each other and flashes their new Rolex watches that Bill bought them. So we launch a new scope called Cyclops which is obviously a piece of capital equipment. Pat cannot believe why we are not taking orders for this product within the first couple of weeks??? Does anyone understand the capital selling cycle--3, 6, 9, 12 months at best??? Please. Not to mention that the strategy changes quarterly at Acclarent as well. Let's see...maybe we should give PDP a try??? This quarter let's give Structural Preservation a shot because we haven't talked about that for a while. No, BSPIO is the answer even though noone is paying for it. Cyclops will definitely unlock the maxillary balloon business...right. The run at Acclarent is over and it will be a slow death and within 12-18 months this will be a $130K Ethicon Endosurgery job. Hope you enjoyed it!

By chance I stumbled on this post and this website. I'm sorry I did. I have never seen a bigger bunch of negative people in my life. This will be the last time I come here. Get out of your office and sell something and life will get better. That's what I'm going to do.
Finally, basically this site is a cesspool for gossip. Whether you are a budhist, athiest, agnostic, Christian, Jew, Muslim, gossip will never and can never bring anything but negativity and bad karma into your life. Most religions, IF you believe in God, consider gossip paramount to murder. You are basically killing their lives on earth. You may have found someone difficult but as the old saying goes, two wrongs don't make a right. Get a life. Get off this site.
