After the interviews with Jansen..they are way too intense for a contract job. This is crazy. Good luck to all that gets an offer and accepts it. It is a tough world out there but this one I dont know about????

agreed. i felt like i was interviewing for the regional director spot ....why such a process for a contract that is only a two year potential?
also,,,,have not seen much on people hearing on offers? are they only telling the people who did not get the jobs at this point?
i am one who is out.
Maybe they feel there is alot of good candidates to choose from so they have been very pickky? i know i interviewed against three other seasoned reps..not sure who got the job though.

congrats to those who did.

Way too much for a contract. I have to meet with 2 regional managers on Tuesday and probably get grilled on STAR questions. That will be 7 face-face interviews for this position along with a phone screen! Wow!

I interviewed f2f with Q manager and had phone interview. I was told by Q manager that it was more than likely that I was moving forward + interviewing with Janssen. Totally mislead as I have heard nothing. Followed up several times too! Very annoying.

7? That sounds very unusual, especially when they're trying to get this team put together quickly.

I am wondering, I also interviewed with the Q manager, did the application, was told I was being passes through, and now have not heard a word, even after leaving 2 messages for the Q manager. Is this standard? Do they just blow you off if they change their minds? Rude is the word I come up with.

I completely agree that it's very rude and to get someone's hope up. I don't understand why the Q managers just state that they have other candidates and they will make their decision after the interview process---NOT that you are moving on to the next level of interviews, hear nothing and don't even have the courtesy to at least send an email.

Most of the f2f interviews with Janssen took place last week.

nope? was rejected for f2f after my first f2f with a Quintile recruiter 2 weeks ago, yet I had another crack with a Quinitile recruiter on the phone for the same position because the original two people didn't work out (say what?). Thus I interviewed for another possible f2f and oh...the Quintile interview on the phone was a "totally different" Quintile recruiter i.e. not the original dude. shrugging....???
