6517

This contract is not just about afib and Xarelto, we will each have at least 3 products, some may have 5. There's a lot of meaningless speculation here, I'm as frustrated as everyone else but I'm also getting tired of all the whiny comments that are based on no concrete knowledge whatsoever. I haven't put my career on hold for this, I would love to be on this contract, and I trust my QFSM, my recruiter and the Janssen manager who have been keeping my area updated, they have all said we are moving forward and are all surprised the green light has not been given to hire (this also includes a direct hire by Janssen in a neighboring territory). Bottom line-if you're tired of waiting move on, I know two who have, but stop the endless, mindless what-if games. Remember, if Ifs and Buts were Candy and Nuts we'd all have a great afternoon!

AMEN! There are other ways to vent out the frustration. Take the dogs for a walk, focus on sending out resumes, or get back to work if you are one of the fortunate ones who have a job. I just got back from seeing matinee, "The Debt" and it was excellent! I think that I'll go see, "I don't Know How She Does It" tomorrow. It's a great escape!

My WAG goes this way. Territory lines depend on the afib indication; if there is no afib approval there will be allot, less slots to fill (ita to pp's comment above). Ergo the territory lines will be drawn differently as well...so we gotta wait...

The territories are already established. Quintiles territories mirror Janssen territories geographically. Targets within the geography vary. Most geographies have three territories (usually 2 Janssen and 1 Quintiles), though some will have four. Don't know if any will have less than three. Xarelto stroke prevention in a-fib will be important, but right now Nucynta and Nucynta ER are huge for the company and the bonus money available is tremendous. New Quintiles reps will be eligible for the regular bonus plan as soon as they hit territory instead of the training bonus that Contract 7048 reps got for their first 12 weeks. Hang in there. Good luck.

You are absolutely correct, the poster before you is absolutely incorrect.

the first falsehood is that Nucynta & ER are huge drugs. the second is that there is bonus money available. i have 3 janssen rep friends who are not making bank.

Wrong. What was said was that Nucynta and Nucynta ER are very important to the company. ER was just introduced, and the bonus plan for ER is phenomenal. A great many reps (Quintiles reps included) are going to make serious cash over the next six months. Everyone? Of course not. There will be areas where managed care and other factors work against the product. Perhaps that's where your three Janssen friends are located. I was never overly excited about Nucynta. Had some nice bonus quarters and others that were so-so. But, again, for at least the next two quarters there is a lot of money to be made if you are successful with Nucynta ER.

Why do I get the feeling everything associated with you is negative? The drugs are bad, your experiences are bad, your friends experiences are bad, the bonuses are bad, the employers are bad...give it a rest Eeyore!

You're crazy if you think that we are going to get some serious cash. Janssen doesn't pay us. Q does.

No word out here in the southwest. Now am curiously awaiting the email excuse of the week. Because another week of "territory alignment" isn't gonna fly.....

I'm in the southwest and I don't think the tone of your attitude in your comment is going to fly if you project that setiment out in the field as a rep. Corporate holds the cards. You have to be flexible, mature and willing to adjust in this economic climate these days.

I understand your impatience; however, let's project professionalism to our customer because that is all we've got-

Be positive.

Excuse emails come on tuesdays and Fridays...I figure this week to get a personal call instead of an email "to make sure, I am still ready to launch"

Whatever, sure, fine, been reading up on the PIs, ect

I am so glad that I didn't cancel my trip to Hawaii the week of November 7th like I was about to a few weeks ago based on the launch meeting. It looks like I will be headed to Hawaii after all. Bummer....I was really looking forward to working for Quintiles and Janssen.

Are you currently working for Quintiles and were you on Contract 7048 until today, when you would have started on Contract 6517 (probably with a nice increase in salary)? And were you on the Quintiles Conference Call last week where we learned that we would be paid the same bonus on Nucynta ER as the Janssen reps? If you can answer yes to both questions, then I guess we are just in disagreement in our interpretation of "serious cash." But if you have to answer no to those questions, why not just accept some information provided by someone who has that information to offer?

This is all new information to me - what did #7048 sell and for whom? Any other info as it relates to this project is appreciated.

Gosh... still waiting myself, still applying for jobs, and hoping for the best.
Surprised east coast has no info here almost at the COB today.
