I am so thankful for this opportunity to be in a startup Pharma company. I left big Pharma specifically to go to a start up and win. Many people here are complaining before sales even begin shows the difference in mentality between "excuse makers" compared to "can do" attitudes reps. 50TRX/week is easy. I'll be doing that within a month. It's a start up, expect to do more than big Pharma or some "biotech" you were let go from. Start up will always expect more and replace you if you don't perform. That's a fact!

I have sold in this market. This guy who thinks he can get 50trx within a couple weeks is laughable! Good luck with that! No pain experience is making you delusional and clueless apparently!
 












Waxy little pellets you can sprinkle on your cereal? The first rep who says faster, better or safer is going to get deposed after a patient drinks a bottle of alcohol or combines with a benzodiazepine and dies.

It's all about cost and this is a generic market. Most docs don't think their patients are abusing meds and don't want to deal with PA , Step Edit and high cost of a branded meds. Even T2 is expensive compared to oxy plain generic. End of subject.

Exactly! And if you have the urge to use all these excuses that have been discussed by management feel free to look for another job. The expectation is high and remember all the questions that were asked during your interview process because all of those questions are documented and you all said you can overcome the excuses listed above. 50 TRX per week is easy for a winner. Losers Feel free to leave or be on a PIP. This is not a place for you to pretend to sell and be able to hide in your PODS. It's a start up and everyone is assessed and looked at. Your name will show up in the bottom of the list if you are one of the losers that cannot get 50rx per week.

Pretty early in the game to be establishing such a nasty corporate culture. Don't you think? You have no idea if your "Xtra" tamper resistant long acting Oxycodone pellets will sell at all or will be covered on key managed care plans. The entire market is generic. Doctors have way too many choices. Your new reps will soon find out that pain docs don't think much about tamper resistance. They are treating patients on multiple medications for pain, not addicts who they think are knowingly or purposefully injecting or snorting their prescriptions. Cost and coverage. Path of least resistance.
 












Nucenta, Opana, Hysingla, and Belbucca. All of them came out to set the opioid world on fire and all 4 are crap. Purdue reps couldn't get 50 RX per week of Hysingla if they were to triple their sales force.

We have great coverage and out more than a year and lucky to have over 10 per week. the market isn't wanting these expensive, dangerous drugs. Nobody cares about the tech when it comes to the hassle factor. Docs don't have time to think or care, just path of least resistance.
