Yes I Have. I was a presidents club winner 3x at a company that mastered the sales in Pain Management. Guess where. That's the problem with hiring reps who are desperate for jobs who will say anything to get a job yet when it's time to deliver these Laid Off Reps do what they do best=Make excuses. 50 TRX/week is easy in the pain market. Go back to GI or CV or wherever you came from since you're most likely going to be on a PIP with your loser attitude! Anyone from P--d-- sales know this is easy breezy!

You are full of crap! I can tell you the pain companies that would be considered competition and recently launched drugs into this market. Purdue, Pernix, Mallincrodt and nobody saw 50 scripts per week or anywhere close to it. You are trying to ruffle feathers. The only way 50 scripts per week would be possible is if you had tier 2 coverage on the your biggest plan. End of discussion.

The environment has changed my friend and the pain environment is a whole different beast you clearly know nothing about!

Totally agree. Looks like we hired some Pharma signature takers that are not used to the true sales of pain management sales. Get ready, if you have the big Pharma mentality you will last 1 month. Every week Early View Data will be looked at. You have 2 weeks from launch to use the "formulary bullshit" excuse, "or too expensive" or whatever bullshit you come up with. After 2 weeks if you don't start generating at least 30-40 rx get ready for a 2-3 day ride alongs and PIPS.

There's way too many reps that were desperate for a job willing to say whatever it takes to get a job but most cannot deliver. Luckily there are only a few of these "excuse makers" and do nothing lazy reps. Most ex Purdue rep originals know this is easy. Those coming from big Pharma are doomed!!

Don't hate but admire. All ex Purdue reps and managers will breeze through the 50 TRX/week. We have established relationships. Soon enough all the new hires will be replaced by ex Purdue reps. Too bad most ex Purdue reps are doing great at other companies and could not move immediately so the company was forced to hire "excuse makers, can't do attitude" reps in the meantime.

first off, many doctors will write this pain drug just to CYA. Why because they can now be confident to provide a powerful pain drug and be able to say with certainty abuse deterrent.
Second, those patients thinking they can get a pain drug they can abuse will not get it. A doctor can now say If you're really in pain I have something that is as strong to provide you that's safe and without the drama of other pain pills.
Third, regarding taking with food. Doctors don't care about that, if you're really in pain go buy bread and take your pills with it. This is just a "smoke screen" and doctors want and now can provide a safe alternative and at the same time "Cover Their Asses" because they can now say they provided an abuse deterrent pain drug!
Now go sell you sorry excuse for a new hire!!! Remember no excuse you make matters. It's all a smoke screen.
