seriously?? You guys are arguing about this??? I think we are past this about 4 years ago! Move on to something interesting... New product, comp plan, leadership, layoffs, etc!!

No new product and when and if that time ever comes, it will suck because every hospital pharmacy in the U.S. HATES Mallinckrodt and they will do everything in their power to make sure a new product under the Mallinckrodt name will never get approved and if it is a device, they will make sure they literally crush any existing hospital access. No one will want to sell anything under the Mallinckrodt name. Also, nothing that is worth selling would even be viable for this company to buy. Nothing! So this will be a crap product if it ever comes out. A crap product to temporarily try to fool stockholders into thinking they have a breakthrough new product. Does everybody realize how many great companies are trying to acquire new drugs? Anything good will be scooped up easily and more aggressively than what Mallinckrodt could possibly afford.
So does everybody get that?!? No surgeon, no physician, no pharmacist will assist Mallinckrodt launch any new product. They have destroyed their reputation forever! There is absolutely positively no turning back. Mallinckrodt is permanently tarnished with OFIRMEV and Acthar pricing and is the prime example of politicians targeting money grubbing pharmaceutical companies.
There is NO future here. People in-the-know are staying for two national opportunities within the first two months of 2016 or a third national opportunity in March and have already been contacted. Others are simply waiting for an adequate individual opportunity and then they will jump.
We don't give a shit about these pathetic disgruntled postings of laid off office based reps with a bone to grine. It's over. Get on with your life and find another company. We already know it is terrible here but the ship isn't going to sink in the next 6 months, so there is time to get something else.
There is no such thing as IV Tylenol and Tylenol is an acetaminophen oral medication. Oral acetaminophen does not equate to IV. Period. That argument is done and over and for those that continue to say there isn't a difference, are just making fools out of themselves. Did you take this job and think that beforehand? Then you're a fool for that reason alone. Do you believe there isn't a difference based on what pharmacy or others tell you? Then you're a fool because you are easily manipulated to change your pea sized mind. The only other reason you may think there isn't a difference is you may be an OSS rep that was put on this sales force and never had the choice of selling this or not. Ok, that could happen......but you're still wrong because there is a difference. At this point, who cares! OFIRMEV will continue to sink slowly and if there is another price increase, then Mallinckrodt needs to be prepared that more than 50% of all hospitals in the nation have already been given the green light to pull the product. Raise the price just by 5 cents and wait and see. National media is just waiting to do a story. All it will take is just one more bad decision.
