$100 million class action suit

Yes let's just let the truth be trampled, so what if it costs $100 million to the company...so what...it's only money...DS has plenty, right?

It just baffles me that no one can defend the suit but everyone is content to give the fraudsters a pass. I take great comfort knowing that hopefully I've shown some sheep the light. 75,000 views hopefully making people think...hmmmmm...that doesn't seem right.

If I see what I believe to be a situation that is wrong, I will always call it out to make it right.

BTW - The ethical thing to do if you're overpaid on leave is simply pay it back. How can you sue for that? how can you say it's ok?

It's funny. I've been in pharmaceutical sales for over 10 years and not once have I ever been forced to attend a meeting in "smoke filled rooms"

Did I miss those meetings? maybe one of those "plaintiffs" can share some of the details of what goes on there?

Read through the complaint. They are suing for being "forced to attend meetings in smoky restaurants, bars, and casinos" AND they are suing for not being invited out to "reward dinners in restaurants, bars, and casinos"

So if it's going to be a party, they want to attend meetings in smoky places

BUT

if it's for work......why it's putting them at risk...... that's discrimination.

ummmm.........can you say hypocrites?

amazing

There are SEVERAL claims in this lawsuit (not just the one you listed). Duh. Google the lawsuit to read them. Oh..I'm sorry. Doing actual research might be too hard for you. Especially for something that doesn't affect you.

And...I'm uninformed? Again, showing your ignorance. I personally know a few of the ladies that filed the lawsuit. They are smart, driven AND ethical.

Oh...and they'll win. So, any boo-hoo-ing about injustice on this board is a waste of time.

What a bitchy post, no wonder they support these frauds

Too bad you've been proven wrong

ethical? HA!

What happened to the 2 women in Harrisburg Pa? One was caught buying food for her family, got caught, started turning in her Manager, teammates, and counterparts, faked a sabbatical, came back and got fired. Her husband got a DUI and lost his job, Did she sue or just leave with her head down? My DM said she never worked and was glad not to have her on his team.

Ugh..... Thought you finally got a life and decided to stop posting the SAME crap. Again. And again. Annnnnd.... Again. Lemme guess..... Nobody's answered your questions yet?!!

I think you've been proven wrong enough times already

Go post your certifications on LinkedIn, haha! What an embarrassing mess! Classic!

Can anyone provide an ethical answer?

This lawsuit is ridiculous. Whatever discrimination there is favors women, especially in the hiring process, which is... 1) Look good in a dress, 2) Smile alluringly at the hiring manager, 3) Lie on your resume, 4) Know nothing about pharmaceuticals, the industry, biology, or medicine, and 5) Giggle as needed.

You speak too much truth for this thread

Can someone explain how being denied a transfer because you want an eaiser commute is some type of discrimination? Wouldn't it make more sense to fill that spot with someone from the outside that has established relationships? That doesn't sound like discrimination to me, that sounds like a smart business move, doesn't it? but I guess that wouldn't fit with the wah, wah, wah, victim of discrimination cries. Unbelievable.

Here's an idea: if your commute is too long, why not move closer to your territory? Oh, because the upheaval will cause difficultly and financial hardship as you transition to your new location? You'll be upset to lose contact with all your good neighbors and the relationships you'll have to give up? hmmmmmm, but isn't that what you're asking your company to do for you with a transfer? hmmmmmmmmm.......
