Micromanagement, poor sales tactics expectations, low pay for the industry, and insufferable management in CNS, all the way up to SB who couldn't make it through a POA without having a slide-deck about her grand vacations.
The entirety of this company that is legacy Forest is utter trash. You're better off working at Taco Bell; they probably at least say "thank you" for your efforts.
It's a mysoginistic industry, very toxic, it's about kissing ass and being the best looking, and sleeping your way up. If you can't sleep your way up, then you kiss ass, hold others career's hostage, and fire anyone you can who doesn't lie for you and cover your ass.
Horrible R&D leadership. Petty, backstabbing, passive aggressive and majorly insecure. Only want to hear their own ideas. No integrity - lie to your face, words don’t matter. There is a reason AbbVie cannot and will not organically grow.
Leadership either doesn’t know or doesn’t care about what the reps truly need. They like to say all the right things but, in the end, do not take REAL action to make an impact on the field. They are more concerned with hitting metrics and checking boxes than adapting to current conditions/needs. Because just about everyone’s job relies on the sales rep, anyone who isn’t has to insert themselves into our day. They don’t care about your time, the distractions and stress they cause that really serve no value (CCs/meetings/field rides, etc) all while still expecting you to hit x, y, z call plan attainment. Leadership wants everyone to believe they don’t micromanage..but they do, and they are inflexible and unforgiving about it. Just wish they would get a clue and leave us alone out here. On the plus side of Abbvie, no one should complain about pay, as they pay you well, most of the products are decent, and there are enough people (peers) I have come across in my many years who are kind and helpful.
Before everyone had to merge into ABA site (south SF), it wasn't so bad. But the new employees started coming from other toxic companies; they brought over their toxicity! However they operated at their former company, they brought their laziness, sneakiness, backstabbing and brown nosing behaviours.
I work for Abbvie. They don't care about the safety of their sales reps. The virus is out of control in my area and they are asking me to do more calls per day than before the virus hit. There is no concern for safety. In the beginning they gave us a few masks. Now we have to provide our own PPE. They have classified us as essential workers so we have to go out each day. There is no type of tracking put in place for exposure to the virus. If we test positive they don't want to know or contact health care workers we may have exposed. After this is over im getting out of this company as fast as I can. They have no regard for us or the Healthcare providers we call on.
DMs are puppets without any regard for how their behavior affects employees. No matter how much you give it is never enough and you are treated like gum on the bottom of their shoe. Worst managers on the planet.
