Zontivity is going to be BIG

Kenny and Roger are being compensated heavily because of Zonktivity. Kenny is up to a 25 million dollar package and Roger just got a huge bump in pay. If everything is so great for the company to warrant huge paydays, why are we having so many layoffs??
 




I had an MD tell me today that he despises Merck. Why? Turns out he read about our CEO getting a $25 Million dollar package. He was very bothered that we laid off his previous CCR rep who he knew well and somehow got the idea that Merck isn't doing very well. After all, if the company is doing well why are we having layoffs? But that changed with the news of Kenny boy. He told me that he's begun going to great lengths to avoid using a Merck drug because of the greed of the company. Thanks Kenny boy. I wonder if there are others out there like this guy.

You have a "number of cards now writing Z?".....yeah, right. Like who? Nobody has a number of any cards writing this drug. All a bunch of liars on this board if you tell us that.
 




Poster 43, I do have a number of cards using Z now. It is not as many I would like but I have at least 5-6 using z. I also have many others in my old territory in a large metro area that have tried Z. No BS.

I call BS on all of this story. You've got many MD's using Z? Typical Merck trash-talker. Where? I'm down south and we have very little business-certainly nobody tearing it up at the rate you're bragging about.

I'm burned out. Mentally, I quit. I'm so sick and tired of begging for business and trying to come up with a "patient profile", "where do you see this fitting in?..." and "...have you had a chance to try it?" type of questions. This is embarrassing. Oh, and the "can you give this a fair trial" close doesn't really work either. That's it. I'm finished. I'll try to sell some Zetia and that's where it ends. The deck is stacked against us with this agent. And everyone knows it.
 




I am not bragging about anything. Is it an easy sell? No, but we do have people writing the drug in certain territories in the south. I and others have new people starting to try the brand for certain patients. Now we are certainly not happy with the overall uptake but it is starting to pick up. Are you from the CV side ? I think it is far more difficult for many of the legacy CV team to sell this drug because it is a very different market from the lipid side. Having a background on the CCR side is a huge advantage because we are very comfortable in this arena.

what did we always hear....the first 100 days are critical in a new product launch??? Anything after that (excluding a significant market event) is just fine tuning. Point being, if there is no significant uptake yet, there is little chance of a growth trend change. Hope this product's story will be the exception. Lot's of folks are counting on its success. Just concerned at this point of the launch.
 




Poster 47 here, I also am worried that we all could be in big trouble if the run rate for Z does not pick up. I honestly never thought it would be this hard to get people to write Z. Has anyone seen the bump in weekly sales that Marc touted in the stage in Atlanta? We now have two weeks in new data in March and the rate is the same. Let's hope for the best

The position you occupy is just where you belong. Read the current literature and clinical trial data. Our direct comparison against BMS comps in lung ca just stopped due to lack of efficacy by their comps.
