Can anyone tell me about this company. I got a call from a recruiter. The lifevest is the product. Was told 150k at plan and top reps make over 200k. I currently sell in the O.R. and my company is a joke. Thanks for the replies.

Your recruiter is full of shit, make some calls and find out yourself

It depends on the territory. Some t's have opened up due to promotions and those are really good opportunities with built in business, however you may have big shoes to fill to grow the business. If it is a virgin territory you may be fine if you know ep's and interventional guys. 200k is possible for the select few, 150k is possible if you can grow the business, 80-100k is more like it if you're just starting out and have a rough go of it.

Why don't you tell me? Too good. Wow, what a fuckup one must be to make a reply such as yours.

Poster #4 did the work for me, I was too tired to type in and explain why you are such a dumb fuck moron to be asking for advice on cafepharma. Simply put - recruiters are always 100% accurate with the potential of the job so get off your lazy ass and do some homework on the opportunity for your territory

"Too tired to type into the post" and letting someone else do the work for you. Then, telling the OP to get off their lazy ass and do the homework? Hmmmmmmmm. Look up "contradiction" in the dictionary. Someone is confused.

Why the mean spirit? Some of us are genuinely trying to make very big life decisions and want to turn over every stone.

I am also interested to know a more likely salary scenario. Everyone keeps touting such high bonus opportunities, but I just keep thinking that if it were really that good, it would be a lot harder to get in.

I have a phone screen interview with Zoll in a few days. I have read mainly negative comments about Zoll which are mostly 2-3 years old. Recruiter says $150K at plan and does not know why the position is avaialable. If its due to promotion than I will ask if I can speak with the rep who was promoted but if it is due to turnover what should one do? My job now is pitiful but has a higher base at least. Company benefits ok, car allowance, how is commish paid? I dont want to go from bad to worse obviously so any current comments or news on Zoll would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Below is the job description:

My client develops and markets medical devices and software solutions in the United States and internationally. The company provides a set of technologies, including products for defibrillation and monitoring, circulation and CPR feedback, data management, fluid resuscitation, and therapeutic temperature management, which help clinicians, EMS and fire professionals, and lay rescuers in the treatment of victims needing resuscitation and critical care. They are looking for a hospital territory manager to sell their hardware and disposable products, including defibrillators, life vests and non-invasive products, to hospital administrators, materials management, nurses and the C-suite. Responsibilities include: achieving sales quotas; managing and developing a customer base; and providing the required in-service education to customers.

College degree and minimum 5 years documented successful medical device capital equipment sales experience within the hospital environment, with experience calling on Emergency Care, Critical Care and Nursing. Candidates must have strategic and customer oriented selling skills, be professional and ethical, have organizational / territory time management skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, and basic computer skills. A clinical or engineering background is a plus. Travel 30-40%

Any insider info on the Bay Area zoll position? I have only b2b so I'm not very savvy on the product. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Three reps in two years in both SF and SJ. Ask Mr. Lebeaux why the turnover. He'll say that reps had poor work ethic and didn't understand this type of sales. Reps were brought in from Boston Scientific to sell the life vest He'll then talk about the sac rep who's knocking it out of the park with three docs who are personal friends of his. To anyone considering this job think about why there were three reps in two years. Cardiologists have been targeted by three reps and said no to each rep. How are u going to be any different? How will it look when you're searching for a job again in 6months?

The job he is asking about is fro the capital side selling defies into the hospital..C sure type stuff not the LifeVest.
And yes, your advice about the LifeVest gig is spot on.

Top performer = right place at right time
Having been a top performer there I can attest to plenty of rock solid reps getting raked over big quota increases
That place become a talent vacuum over time
Good luck selling that product with no outcomes data, I'm sure Obama care won't be all over that

I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
― Michael Jordan

Hmm maybe something to this, no doubt lifevest is growing the question is... will it be sustainable and multiple parts of the country are being effected by a poor insurance payer environment? Will indications remain? Leadership comes from the top.. that's the bigger issue at Lifecor, Lifecor needs a new captain who is a inspired leader.

Is there a LifeVest product to sell? Had heard that reimbursement was threatening some of the primary prevention indications?

Would think that is needed for a rep to make some $$$

any color would be appreciated

Zoll Lifecor is a big joke, I worked for these creeps and the are nothing but a bunch of Headhunters at the Pittsburgh PA company... The S.O.B.'s that run the prison are allways looking for some person to stick a knife in his/her back .... I hate the bastards.. And I would not recommend the Lifevest made by that Creeper company to my worst enemy let alone my dearest family member... The make CRAP....

Zoll Lifecor is somewhat of a joke job. Put on your scrubs and walk around the hospital and act like a doc. Funny stuff seeing them really do nothing except bring in doughnuts. Pay 110K good money for 30 hrs per week and train your bitch's to fit the vest while your at home. Likely to b sold to device co and then all sales people let go. Get resume tuned up and ready to send. Problem is that there are no real technical skills w this, it's a pure relationship gig.

This is spot on-someone needs to buy this product who knows how to manage a business. ML is a joke and needs to be shitcanned like yesterday. 50% turnover last year nationally in field sales. This place is a brown stain on your resume. I have never worked for a more dysfunctional, clusterfucked organization with less inspiring "leaders". You almost have to beg to get this POS off the shelf from your own company. Your customers will pity you because you are the 4th rep they've seen. Headhunters are seeing LOTS of LifeVest reps and managers running. Anyone considering a job here, good luck! I'd rather take unemployment.

Zoll Lifecor is totally dysfunctional, managment stinks... The game at Lifecore is hire a rep with some relationships, glean those, terminate, rinse repeat. I got tired of hiring reps to meet the VPs quota from a clueless CEO. CEO on down doesn't care about ethics, law or morals, experience or the individual. Not much better than unemployment... it's a 6-9 month job... good if you don't mind the short stay on your resume. Anyone that says different has their nose brown and the person that gave that brown nose likes that feeling of a nose up their butt.
