ZB Surgical

Quota reductions.... more like slap In the dick... what a joke of a company. Every rep has to be looking to jump ship after these were announced. Sad day for zimmer surgical aka “division other”.

ADs cracking jokes on conf calls about applicants with great SaaS sales experience but limited medtech on their resumes. Then they end up hiring the burnout with 10 years experience at Stryker. And they wonder why we continue to suck.

I can’t believe what this division has become. Just a joke. Is there anyone with 3 years experience left? I’ve been gone for 2 years and the guy that replaced me is already gone.

If it was "Stryker" methodology we'd have a new version of existing products every 4-5 years and additional product investment in new things in the off years. Continued empty promises on product acquisition and development and we go "all in" on the core product of SYK's surgical biz... it's power or bust for our team.

No accountability of executive leadership to put us in a position to win.

Surgical exemplifies everything wrong with ZB. Clueless managers that rest on their laurels from decades ago. Clumsy execution of everything, using disjointed and outdated systems. Promotion of technology that is outdated by the time it's released. Strategy that is cocky, but tentative and cheap resulting in lost opportunities, again and again. Five years ago you might have said that despite all this they were at least decent guys from the midwest. But now they are just trying to keep their jobs and dancing to the tune of leadership in CT. Pretty sad, actually.
