Worst HED/HD?

It’s quite astounding that EJ is in this Leadership role. Every grain of his character goes against Genentech culture. Having worked with him for years, I am shocked SLT allows his style of leadership. It appears evident by his people rapidly leaving the VA ecosystem and going to other organizations.

Those who left were NOT “his people” and good riddance! More to come! :)

This thread is all you need to know about the current culture of Genentech. Not too many years ago a CP GNE Worst Managers thread didn't even exist. Sure, we had some better than others but the mantra of 'everyone deserves a good manager' meant something. Most of these incompetent snakes wouldn't have even made it through the first interview. Weak leadership always brings the same result - destruction.

The decent HDs will end up leaving along with the good TAMs high tailing it outta there. After this miserable model ends in earth shattering loss of sales far exceeding COVID’s impact on industry, we’ll see just how committed the Roche family is. Hopefully will give Bill the boot and get it thru their heads that the US does not work like the EU.

Not a more miserable place to work now...what a shame. They are hiring people that NO ONE would hire from the outside because NO ONE currently employed wants another job here. They realize that they would be spoon feeding the HED/HDs all of their contacts. Who, in their right mind, would give every contact it took 10 years to cultivate? So that they could quickly burn that bridge?
