Women need not waste their time at Allergan

Come on, who says this is opposite? Some HR fatty? Allergan is no place for a woman. The random promotion does come around but equity in salary will surely be missing. In addition, you will be expected to babysit and nurture your mails counterparts egos as you try to get the three jobs they have given you done. It's like your an octomom.

The promotions that do come up for women are for optics only. If these folks had their way it would be an a 100 percent circle jerk team.

If it was the other way around you would see it. Look around. How many women do you see at Allergan (sales) who are over 50? How many female reps have been on board over 10 or 15 years? Compare that to men at Allergan. Big difference. Ive known several mis sex teams that the man made more than his female partner or got a better raise. I know of siuations that a man was offered more money and a higher position than an eqally qualified woman. It happened in eye care just last year and the man and woman interviewees were friends and discussed it. Both turned down the job offer. Just because you havent personally experienced it doesnt mean it doesnt happen

Last year my partner got a much larger raise than me. I do more of everything than he does, and he will tell you that. More calls, more core programs, more lunches, more par rx, more of the planning. Ive been here twice as long as he has. If we have the same ranking and the same job title and base salary, how can this be? And why would he have my same salary when i've been here way longer?

It's simple....he didn't bitch and whine to everyone within earshot like you do. The cost of letting everyone know how unhappy you are is the lack of pay increases. It was a tradeoff, but you weren't aware of it.

Keep it up. Your bitterness comes through in every interaction you have with people within the company. At meetings and during manager contacts people sense your anger and resentment, they feel that negativity you release. You are hurting yourself when you are behaving this way.

Ask yourself, how successful have you been so far using this approach?
