Agree on Oregone. They play a very soft schedule. Through the first 5 weeks of season, they have not played one single team ranked in the top 30 of the computers. The entire PAC conference has only played 16 teams ranked in the top 30 through first 5 weeks. As a comparison, the SEC has played 29 teams (practically 2x`s more than PaC) ranked in the top 30 through 5 weeks.
The PAC stands a better chance of comparing themselves as a football conference to the little 10.
With a cup cake schedule, understandable why the PAC has only won 3 football national titles in the last 35 years.
Prior to the BCS Alabama had won 12 championships dating back to 1926, their last modern era championship was in 1992, bring in the BCS and they have 3 current "bowl championships" in 2009, 2011 and 2012.
Prior to the BCS LSU had one national championship in 1958, now they have 2003 and 2007.
Prior to the BCS Auburn had one national championship in 1957.
Florida only has BCS championships.
Georgia hasn't won a championship since 1980.
Tennessee won in 1967 and not again until BCS in 1998.
