WILL OFFICES EVEN LET US BACK IN IN MID MAY?

Silly rabbit, this thread IS about Tx vs Cali!:p

While all of you in Cali are picking up vegan carryout or making a healthy salad, I am going to be eating fajitas at Lupe Tortilla this weekend. Yummmmmmm.

God Bless Texas:rolleyes:

Texas-Mexican food is the worst representation of Mexican food. So gross. Cali has you beat there all day long. And no I am not from CA but have lived in both. Just the fact that you list fajitas shows how shitty the Mexican food is in Texas. Now BBQ...you own the whole county on that. I've waited in line at Franklin's and it was worth it.

This thread is not about CA vs TX.

I want any intel on when we in the field may go back and if they will supply gloves and other protective gear.

thank you for any real answers.

No fake news please.
look, nobody knows when people will go back, and hardly anyone cares about CA or TX. Anyone who appears to give a "real answer", is faking it (they don't know either)
Now just calm down, and get comfortable with the uncertainty

got it but I want to know if they will give us face masks and gloves. plus, I know my offices told me no managers for months.

Why are you making such a big deal over masks and gloves? If indeed you are a field rep, you make north of 6 figures (if not-they got you cheap) and can afford a mask and box of gloves.

With that being said cheapskate, I am sure that when we go back in the field we will have the tools needed to visit accounts. If not, my aunt will sew you a bright yellow Big Bird print mask. I'll give you the Amgen discount of $125 a mask.

I call BS! IF you lived in Texas, you would know that locals do NOT call it "Texas-Mexican" food. It is called TexMex. I have no doubt that you visited Texas (NSM) and had bad TexMex. You probably went to a ghetto Taco Cabano. There are/were tens of thousands of TexMex places across the state ranging from piss poor to outstanding.
You should expand your horizons to better places. Someone mentioned going to Lupe Tortillas on this thread. That is a GREAT spot in Houston and is known for their fajitas. Also Pappasitos is a great family run restaurant across the state. Chuy's in Austin is fantastic. Mi Cocina in Dallas is a hit and Joe T Garcia is very popular in Ft Worth.
I bet your Cali pallet would say that Del Taco, Baja Fresh or Moe's Southwest are your favorite joints to get a bean burrito. Or a Friday night date for you is to go to Chevy's and be served my a waiter wearing chotchkies.

Regardless of food, Texas is very ugly besides Austin and you couldn't pay me to live there since it is full of stupid Texans.

You proved you don't know anything about Mexican Cuisine outside of TexMex. No shit Sherlock that the bastardization of Mexican food in Texas is lamely called Tex-Mex. I was not referring to that awful abortion of food purposely as I wanted to cover all Mexican cuisines that are served in Texas as I am very aware that not all Mexican food in Texas is TexMex...perhaps you did not know that. Cleary you eat at the very Americanized version of Mexican food...tacos, burritos, quesadillas, fajitas, rice and beans and all covered in cheese. That is the mainstay of Mexican food in Texas and TexMex and is a very far cry from authentic Mexican Cuisine. Very difficult to find good Yucatan, Oaxaca, Mexico City Street Food, Baja and Jalisco anywhere in Texas. Trust me I have tried. In SoCal you will find all of the regional Mexican Cuisines I mentioned and many more, not to mention some very elevated gourmet Mexican food. Try again...do better.

Can your aunt make one with Yosemite Sam on it ?
I will only pay $25 tops .... pics or it isn't true

I heard they have tacos in Tijuana that can shoot ping pong balls

.....Yawn....Can we quit hearing about how superior California is to the rest of the US. Check your backdoor, because most people are leaving your state and moving to more friendly states.

Most people? Guess math is not your thing. That would mean the population would be dropping exponentially right?

Those who are moving out are Republicans/conservatives who disagree with our politics and culture, people who don't like to pay their fair share of taxes, business and corporations who don't like to pay their fair share of taxes or a living wage, and unsuccessful people who cannot afford to live here. None of whom will be missed! We will be just fine without any of them and in terms of Republican/conservatives please...you are not wanted here anyway and you hate living amongst all of us liberals. We get it. You don't like us, we don't like you so good riddance.

Go move to Austin to live with your kind, dirtbag

"who don't like to pay their fair share of taxes, business and corporations who don't like to pay their fair share of taxes"

WOW! What a wild, left wing statement.

1) If you truly want people to pay "their fair share of taxes" you would support a flat tax.

2) You realize that you are running over Amgen in this statement. Amgen is expanding in Tampa. That is a fact. If Cali were so great, why not expand near TO? Are you saying that Amgen is wrong to relocate/expand a portion of business to Tampa?

3) How is it that you can be fiscally liberal and work at Amgen? I get socially liberal but not fiscally. What did Obama ever do fiscally to help the PHARMA industry? ObamaCare-That was a joke!

4) You will have a wake up call in 1-2 months when half of the nation is open and you are still "sheltering in place". Do you think out of work people will stay in Cali? Or do you think that they might relocate out of Cali to find work. Especially your middle class. What then will happen to your state tax collection? Are you going to collect it from your abundant homeless population in LA and San Fran?

I would encourage you to take/retake an online basic economics class.

5) I am shocked at how you can hate on conservative principles and work in one of the most liberally hated industries.

I think I will call you a hypocrite.
