Why Xeljanz did not have Renvoq plan





Xeljanz didnt have a plan cuz VP and marketing did not believe the reps doctor intel from the field because according to VP in Nov & Dec 2019 "we are not seeing much impact nationally"... joke.
Well you are getting punched between your arrogant eyes now & worse is yet to come in 7 months when you loose psrity with UHC CVS & ESI for 2021.
VP & Directors are tools that just manage parts with zero clue on leadership & being strategically proactive .

I and most of the reps have had it with these stupid idiot decisions the past year from VP & Pres. Total unthinkable insanity in HQ with this leadership. My of the reps are starting to see if havent already the incompetence of leaders we have and taking decisions in our own hands (as it is our performance that will decide who stays & who goes in 2021 cuts)
F the VP and his plans for Filogotinib that at max will only have 1% share w small sales force & ignoring Renvoq since launch that is driving us into the ground.
I and many other Smart & Strategic reps are forming our own Renvoq plan who has gotten 15% Nrx share in an unheard of 4 months cuz VP has no plan---No pre launch, post launch or 2021 plan. Totally cluless in 2019 launch saying "not seeing what reps are saying w uptake & utilization.... marketing data not showing what we see.... trending doesnt show any uptake..... our PAID physician ad boards are not saying what reps saying..... F ing idiot who never been a Rep, never a DM, never a RM, never a RD, never a NSD, never an Operational Manager--- but now VP Sales past year & total disaster. His talents are NOT LEADING other, Strategic Decision making, building a Culture, or Visionary. What makes this division even worse, this new Pres boss is even less qualified & skilled! Total F ing cluster in I&I.
If the reps are to survive, the good ones will have our own Renvoq plan that will hit half Billion in sales 1st year and over Billion in 2021 at our VPs lack of initiative & strategic planning. He is too narasistic & paranoid to be effective so it falls upon us good smart strategic reps to take control, F clueless VP & HQ. We better or the cuts in 2021 will not be 0-15% instead will be 50-60% !
 




No Renvoq plan who is directly asking physicians for Xeljanz patients & to be used before Xeljanz. But we will have Filogotinib plan for a drug that will only do 100mil peak years (Renvoq hitting 500 million after 12months).
And Gilead has put their entire new sales force on the anti Viral Remdesavir which is projected to do 7 Billion a yr (100mil or 7 Billion, makes sense, unlike Pfizer)

A total Joke of a division that has turned worse than primary care. No wonder only theaverage or below avg IM reps who the DMs want to move out post for Xeljanz openings.
Hell even our DM has turned into a BS joke with reps being promoted w no exp or training. (VP makes up FAKE info & background on new DMs to make sound like been develop & trained. Even the new DMs laugh at the comments by the VP to the division. One even told my DM "he must have Trump's speech writer"
Never seen anything in my 25yrs like I have seen go down the last year with this new HQ leadership.
 




I&I leadership with BOTH Xeljanz & Derm is as WEAK as they come & a JOKE within Pfizer.
Other Pfizer divisions the past few years have casted out their AVG to Below Average RDs DMs Reps to Xeljanz & Derm.

The new leadership last year with Richard , Beatrice, Jeff are simply weak with Strategy Vision Decision Making which equals crashing & destroying a division --- which they have done.
Most of the few good Reps DMs HQ people have already bolted this toxic culture sinking ship.
I&I will not exist post Xeljanz in 2024 as it is the only thing paying the bills & it is also crashing at the rapid growth of Renvoq

This is just par for the course with the Xeljanz VP. If you can easily get distracted by young pretty DMs & reps, then loosing focus on the #1 comp Renvoq for the 15th RA agent to the market is a given for this leadership.
Just comical at same time sad what leadership has done to this division in the past yr.

Who would have thought Ed would end up being the most reasonable RD in the room. The morale in the division was going down long before Lotz took over. Lotz is probably smarter than all of you since he has a degree in engineering where they actually learn something about math, logic, physics, etc. Not the pseudoscience BS they teach in business/marketing school.

The PC BS going on now was championed by marketing that started 4yrs ago about time JL took over head of Marketing . Second was MARKETING decision to push to double the sales force in 2018.
Yes Vic & John had to buy in & sign off on all these business elements but it was head of marketing- Lotz who initiated & championed them! Now he is VP the past year & everything PC related he initiated behind the scenes as head of marketing the past 5yrs is accelerated as VP now.
