It also suggests Ambien CR first. GTier three is a $75 co-pay.
Ambien CR will also be going generic soon!Gee,Silenor is so much different and safer than Ambien CR,what's $75 copay???LOL!

I'm not a drug/sales rep. (That's your cue to tell me to get lost again, as if only reps could opine on whether this drug will succeed or not, which is the subject of this thread.) I do have very good insurance, and a very good doctor, which might partially explain the ease with which I got this great stuff.
BTW, if you do some rudimentary google searching (which you apparently have not), you'll find that some insurance companies will require PA and a prior generic-Ambien fail before covering Silenor, but not all insurance companies require that. Some of them clearly don't. Do a little web surfing and you can find it quick. My BCBS covered it -- I paid $30 for 30 days (though I see that BCBS in other areas impose stricter rules.)
If you are not a drug/sales rep then beat it...........unless you are a stupid blond, 28 years old with a big and fake rack. Oh......and a great personailty.

I am a 34D........store bought. I have blond hair.........with black roots. Yes, my personality is sparkling.......... are you saying I can't sell Silenor?

I'll buy whatever you are selling.

Doxepin comes in a liquid concentrate 10mg/cc. For 120cc, the cost is $15.99. Get an graduated syringe in 1/10 cc graduation. Insulin syringe will do. Take 0.3cc for 3mg. 0.6cc for 6mg.
Do the math yourself. it's about $5 a pill for Silenor.
Have your doctor give you a concentrate and get a 1/10 cc graduated syringe and try it first before being ripped off by this drug company!!
Please if you have any common sense.
I'm a doctor of medicine and despise these money hungry drug companies!!!!!!!
In that case i'm sorry to say that you're not a good doctor. I'm not a doctor but i still know this: the active ingredient is Doxepin, indeed. Take 1/2 of a 10mg capsule, or liquid Doxepin with a dropper. What do you get the day after? Side effects like hangovers, headaches and not 7-8 hours sleep. And why not do i hear you ask? Start looking at the excepients. Silenor is a very slow working version of the old Doxepin version. The Doxepin that you call a "Generic for silenor" is an untrafast working drug (Capsule or liquid). This causes side effects and not a maintained sleep. It's all not as easy as you think. Patients love Silenor and it's covered by most insurances and doesn't cost $5/pill. Do some research before talking nonsense.
Just a comment on the pure Doxepin vs Silenor debate. I took about 5 mg of Dox and did not sleep well, woke up with a headache and hangover effect. Two days later I took about 2.5-3 mgs of Doxepin and had the same aches and crappy feeling upon waking up and it lasted for three hours. Two weeks later I got a scrip for Silenor and was rewarded with 8 hours of sleep with no side effects. My cost was 65$ thru BCBS and I used a $25 couponn which took it to $40. Heck I would pay $5.00 a night for the sleep I get now. Lot's of people drink 3-4 dollars of booze to sleep. Anyhow I took the test and Silenor works as advertised. Doxepin is too hard on the head and brain 4 me.
