I am curious as to which reps are making 65k? I am a new rep and was told non-negotiable, 50k flat for sales rep, and I do have prior experience.

I was told that starting base is 50k and not a cent more... And that they were looking for someone very tenured who could train their less experienced representatives who actually make 65k base. The manager states that he wants "team players" that will take time out of their territory to work with the less experienced and not complain about not reaching their goals because they are having to take time out I their territory to train "newbies". The manager is apparently too busy to do his job and train his own reps.
After running a start up company, my answer is a resounding ... No Thank You!
is it true all the female employees are hot? not like it matters, im married.

Can someone respond to elaborate on why there are so many posting for entry level sales reps in DFW? What is the pay for entry level? I just graduated and was wondering what I might be expecting for this sales job? Who is the DSM, RSM, of this area are they pretty fair and supportive managers to work for??????
How many reps have they gone through in the last 10 years in this area? 7? Average life span of a rep here is actually less than 1.4 years. I'd say more like 6 - 8 months....if you're lucky. Anytime you have high turn over like this is a reflection of either company policy and / or management.
I was kinda thinking the same thing. Any comments? True? and who the hell is this vt??!!
Valerie Tharnish. VP of Sales (or something like that). Instead of actual development, all I ever saw her do was train new reps (which was a full time job, due to the fact that MDL has to hire 15-20 new reps every other month due to atrocious turnover).
When she's not doing that, she's combing through the sales force's expense reports, making sure nobody spent more than $10 a head on lunch (which nobody does because any idiot can inflate the employee size of an office).
Anyways, it doesn't matter. This company is not a player in the lab space and they won't be around much longer. Docs know that a $1200 test for BV is going to make them look bad to their patients and payors
I just don't get it. I've read and have heard from many many many people about VT. Why does she still have her job? Why do you think the turn over is so high? I've also been told by managers at other companies at trade shows this incredibly bad company will cease to exist very soon. Btw.....how many diseases / pathogens can their Oneswab detect now? Reps still have to recite a VT approved script at the front desk?
most obgyn's will only the most common first 10 diseases offered by mdl. after that, it becomes more estoric = means less and less likely they'll be ordered. So why offer 50 different diseases when 90% of them ordered are the first 10.
And every other lab under the sun can do them too, haha.
3 weeks and no comments? I'm leaving in 2 weeks, not telling anyone tho...
Does em know or care that vt is destroying his company and has destroyed his sales team?does em know or cares vt is not allowed in some offices?
No. I do not care. She has made alot of money for this company. Bottom line is = Y-O-U are expendable. Stop with all of this immature cry-baby antics and go out and sell !! If I have to come back here one more time there'll be some firings and I don't care how many !!! You all get paid handsomely with incredible benefits. You may not like VT, but she is your senior manager for my organization. Get over it !!
PhD and can't spell a lot? Alot is not a word. LMAO
