Who is that freak lady doctor on the Restasis commercial?

Re: What is that? Freakish Restasis commercial?

Maybe the dilated pupils (side effect of Restasis?) create the sense of unease due to viewing the undead conducting ophthalmological-like activity.

The only thing that "bugs" me about this commercial, and it bugs the shit out of me, is that she pronounces the t in the word 'often.' It's a silent t ! No wonder young people don't know how to properly pronounce words, when professionals on media can't do it.

And while I'm on this rant, it seems that the new way to pronounce s is sh, as in the word shtrong - strong.

I happened upon this by accident. Can't believe what I read... How can anybody in their right mind get THAT excited about a commercial, or an actor, or a product? Next time it comes on, go get yourself another cup of coffee, or a beer, and don't pay attention to it.

4 years later and they're still filming this freak doctor. She looks less like a praying mantis now because of her wrinkles but I mean come on!! Now the patient is freaky as hell.

This is a product that will make you go blind

What an amazing discovery!!! :

The immunosuppressive effect of ciclosporin was discovered on 31 January 1972 by employees of Sandoz (now Novartis) in Basel, Switzerland, in a screening test on immune suppression designed and implemented by Hartmann F. Stähelin. The success of ciclosporin in preventing organ rejection was shown in kidney transplants by R.Y. Calne and colleagues at the University of Cambridge,[6] and in liver transplants performed by Thomas Starzl at the University of Pittsburgh Hospital. The first patient, on 9 March 1980, was a 28-year-old woman.[7] Ciclosporin was subsequently approved for use in 1983.

The fake doctor for money is attractive in a strange way, but the distinguishing feature about her is she has blue eyes and red hair, how about find a black doctor right? Isn't it politically correct to advertise in a way that fails to makes a white person strong in any way.... to me she looks like a bug.

I think it's great they used a MD, but she looks like she is speaking with a mouth full of rotten eggs. Having said that I think I would come across as a complete door knob if I were a spokesman. The money would be worth it though.

I can't believe there are people willing to admit they are like that blow-hard Limbaugh. And the comment that Palin is pretty and smart!? Most of this country is doomed. I wish conservatives would die out quicker...

I decided to post non-anonymously to show people what having just a bit of responsibility looks like.

I had wanted to find out the name of the doctor who appears in the Restasis commercial and eventually came to this website. I know that some of the postings are several years old by now, but that doesn’t matter: Many of the posters should be deeply ashamed of their attacks on this doctor and of the terrible, disrespectful language they used to describe her. Even if the doctor is not your ideal woman (which is hardly relevant here), there are some things you think and other things you post. Please take a moment in the future to give the slightest thought to the people you are insulting and about the crass and hateful language you use.

You seriously wouldn't bang her right through the headboard if you had the chance?

...secondly she is in fact from and practices in Sioux Falls SD and I dont know where you are from but let me give you a little background on SD, it is located just outside of southern canada and has an extremely sparse population, the point being that I doubt she is one of the highest prescribers...

Ummm. You realize there is a whole other state between SD and Southern Canada, it's called North Dakota! So, it's about 400 miles from the border or almost 5.5 hrs drive time. And while Sioux Falls is no NYC, it's not sparse... It has about 150,000 people in it, and is the most populated city in South Dakota... I do agree with you that she is probably not one of the highest prescribers as well... But if you're going to school someone on something, at least get your facts right!
