where is my check!

If you read the bottom of page 3 and top of page 4 in the link (brings up the case docs) of the bloomberg article above it is for reps in NY and CAL and 'those that opted in'....worked here between 2000 and 2007.

I never opted in the sexual harrasment suit and was paid. I know the other women received a higher percentage of the judgement but we all current/past female employees were compensated.

Former rep here (CA). I remember getting the class action letter back in 04. Opting in meant doing nothing. To opt out meant having to sign & return the document (specifically waiving your rights to be part of the class). I just threw the document away (thereby "opting in"). I called the law firm back in April and was told I was on the list to receive a payment (was employed from 02 to 11).

2002-2011? Fantastic. Can you tell me the name of the law firm and number? $1300 per month employed? Wow. I can only hope I am on the the list. What if you live in Virginia?

You will be included in the payout unless you indicated that you did not want to be involved in the lawsuit. This is the way all class action suits avoid further litagation.

People here are really spreading rumors...call the lawfirm for yourself...unless you "opted in" to participate, the overtime lawsuit was only class action for two states, CA and NY , everyone stop the crazy talk!

True, but when the case went to Federal Court, they decided that under federal laws all Novartis sales reps were entitled to overtime pay. This should mean that all sales reps are entitled to it in the class action lawsuit. Call the attorney's office and speak with them. Nothing in the settlement publications point to any single state or states.

...As an interesting aside, the ruling discloses Novartis has data for only 72 percent of all prescriptions written, since some 19,000 pharmacies do not report to the prescription services that contract with the drugmaker. Of course, Novartis sets goals for its reps based on the prescriptions written; in 2005, the average total compensation for a rep was $91,539, including bonuses based on prescriptions....

Call Kate Nelson at 202-742-7453 at the law firm...I just did. this suit is different than the gender...unless you lived in NY or CA, you had to OPT IN to be a part of the class...the deadline was 2007. These are the facts, so stop the speculation...no money to those of you who did not OPT IN or do not live in NY or CA...period!

When you spoke to Kate did she mention that they reached a settlement yet? When I spoke to law firm last week nothing had been reached. So these post of getting 1300/month are complete bullshit!

I also spoke to Kate Nelson, just now. There has been no settlement, no checks forthcoming in December, no monthly amounts established. Novartis has not decided whether it will go to trial to determine a settlement amount or just to settle with negotiations. If you did not opt in, no money. CA and NY are included in law suit. It will be a while!

Just called Kate, she was at lunch but spoke to her immediate boss, Carl just states that the lawsuit is open to all employees and that the monthly amount is around 1300. The timeframe is still to be determined and the target date was Early December but looks like it will be early next year. If you don't know, then say that, don't lie. I bet the posters are from NY or CA. Grow up.

Then hold on tight for the ride, there will be many more to follow!!!
