Where are they now?

Absolutely agree. Their plan is already in place. If a consultant shows up in your department, say hi to your replacement. Make sure your resumes are up to date. Don't wait, run to find a new position elsewhere.

True,,, but PD sales size will become smaller soon (IMO).
The writing is on the wall, @3-4months. 25-30% gone. Poof!
Don't believe me?? Circle late Oct & Nov in your calendar.

Way to stay on point. Jackass.

The thread is about former Fougera/Pharmaderm mgmt. You, or another anon poster changed it to a discussion about another company. Maybe you should just start a Lantheus board?

The down size rumors are flying. Nothing is on the horizon to improve the Pharmaderm portfolio. It's just a matter of time before Sandoz mgmt pulls the plug on this dead dog.

Well, duh. A recent Sandoz job posting on Careerbuilder for Sales Director listed one of the requirements as identifying and retaining key Pharmaderm personnel.
There ya go.

Hell, pharmaderm has a division head who specializes in dismantling organizations. Who would want to take on a job that's only going to be short term? Even the queen bee, MD, is jumping ship. Party's over everyone. Time to move on.

Well our current sales director has had huge turnover. Nobody respects JW. He just yes everyone to death and is so out of touch with the field. Rx down across the board since he took this role and large turnover. That's all you need to know.

I wouldn't be so sure about that! This company pays one of the highest base salaries in the derm industry and the bonuses have gotten better. Even when (and it might be at least another year) when Solaraze goes generic this sales division can sustain itself on Veregen and Oxistat with another derm product probably thrown into the bag! I think Sandoz is committed to the Pharmaderm sales force! I really wouldn't listen to the nay sayers on this board. Just probably bitter ex employees.

I know of a bridge in the Everglades I can sell you.
Highest base salaries in the derm industry? You think that's a positive? Maybe from your point of view, but for a division that is losing money, those high salaries are another nail for the shut down coffin. You clearly have no sense of business. IF the division remains, it will be with fewer pharmaderm reps and more outsourced reps. No company will continue to pour good money into bad...and we don't even own Veregen, so we could lose that as well. Wake up mr kool-aid drinker and for crying out loud, learn something about business.

Pharmaderm can't sustain itself when Solaraze is gone. The ONLY way it can is with a reduction
of the sales force. The only hope we have is that Solaraze stays in
the bag till next year, and we get another product next year. If Solaraze is gone tomorrow
We will see 20% reduction in the sales force. And if you can't sell veregen or oxistat you are gone. My guess is Solaraze is gone by the end of the year.

you wake up chicken little, the sky isn't falling.the crap you're throwing around to support your argument isn't even true...division that's losing money? False. If the division remains? False. We could lose Veregen because we don't own it? False. I can't believe all that doomsday bullshit. I bet if I was selling a fallout shelter you'd be interested because the end of the world is coming too, right? What you claim to know about business only holds weight on cafepharma. #youropinionisignoredintherealworld

Wow you really are drinking the kool aid? They have already starting hiring contract reps? Why do you think a division who hasn't made that a practice is now. Answer so when things such as a brand goes generic or they decide to down size it's easier. Wake up You really do have zero business sense. In fact I bet you didn't even know we were hiring contract reps. Also did you hear the head of Sandoz has stepped down? Doomsday no......fact based and reality based yes
