What's your favorite blunder at Novartis in the last 10 years?

Kevin McKinnon. Rep to Mgr to RD to VP then back to MD(glorified RD)...the people in NJ saw what an idiot he is. Smooth talking-rhyming machine wanna be evangelical preacher. Good grief.

Chris Espisito and his DM's that felt they were above compliance and turned a blind eye to the practices in the field but when called on carpet hung reps out to dry.

Let me start:

trying to push zelnorm in the US despite the FDA safety concerns

I may be going too micro here...but my favorite would be the two documented times that I received my "revised" goals AFTER the quarter was over. Both times I went from over 100% to goal to under and received feedback that I would have to work harder to meet/exceed my sales goals. Overall incentives department is a joke and their fearless leader Mike P couldn't find his ass with both hands.

Regionalization of the company with subsequent micromanagement to the point that you have to make a spread sheet of everytime you fart!! As the screws get tighter, the performance suffers. All pretense of enpowerment and input that was to be CCI is gone

Extavia wins this hands down. Let's spend 800 million to make 60 million. But Gilenia is the future of Novartis in making up lost Diovan revenues!

Signed,
Senior Leadership

having a diversity promoted to Onc 2-4 DM in S FL who was the biggest lying, back stabbing, moron u could ever work for. Real loser!!

Guess her RD MK from S GA was equally a stooge with golf terms relating to sales. Guess he lost job at WKRP as programing director Andy Travis look a like for all those who remember the show in the late 70's.

Mike get a haircut the 80's look is out even for S Georgia u redneck
