Whats with the super young, inexperienced DM's?

Why is no one happy at AMGN, ABBV, JNJ, PFE? They own the market.

Because the cultures dehumanize the reps. Go read the boards. More lunacy that this board. We reps are not in a good place.

The people happy at those places are the shareholders, but for us, it's not good. Our legal and operations staff have had enough years to know the numbers and they minimize payouts while maximizing work.

Who ever heard of a DM making 70K, while their subordinates make 110-120K?

If these "gals" have the relationships, then why not hire them to be the reps?

Ask the people that developed this model at Celgene for this launch. Sounds crazy, but true. These rep's were making low $ primarily working for contract companies. Competitors are going to eat Celgene's lunch in the Derm market. Lunacy I agree, but true. All rep's with 3-4 yrs experience were interviewed for DM spots last fall, all hot young and making little $. Interviewing a current DM at another company was the exception.

There are no DM's making $70K. Learn the basics of trolling boards and stirring up crap. YOU need to be at least somewhat accurate.

Your are correct, many are making well under, at our weak company and others. Salary will commensurate with experience, not even a backwards company like ours is going to hire DM's with no experience in mgmt, 3-4 yrs pharma sales/contract sales experience and pay them over 100k.

I have DM friends at Forest pharma in the 50-60k range. Reps will be hired and paid based on experience and past $, same as mngrs, title don't mean a thing, especially if you are hired as a sales rep with little to no experience. This is a different division and different way of hiring, this is not the business model Celgene has used in the past. Hope it works, I know in Onco nobody is making less then 100k, but we are making the $$$ for this company, we are not some lab experiment about to go wrong.

Says the guy who doesn't know what he is talking about.

LOL, my old friend from College is a DM here and she is not even making 65K. Graduated in 08', said this company is nothing special, she is 6 months in and already looking for another job (5th job since leaving school). She said there is no way this drug is going to get any uptake, said Derms will laugh at these studies, and market for indication is small. She would know.

All time dumbest post with no credibility!

I'm sure that you've had such a direct and positive influence in the growth of the Onco division. It couldn't be the drugs that have made Celgene what it is could it? What an absolute pompous tool.

But, but I am mad. I applied for a DM job and didn't get an interview. So, I stalked the DMs and noticed how old and ugly I am and now I represent 99% of the posts on these boards, claiming everyone Celgene hired is pretty.

Next, I posted for a Rheum job and didn't get an interview. I said short the stock, there's no way they can compete without the high power biologics rep.

Next, I posted for a Derm job and haven't heard a thing.

I am mad and I will post bad things here all I want.

BooooooHoooooo

Skin and nail data presented at AAD this weekend clueless boy. Skin data will be in the labeling for Derm launch. Get a life loser!

Glad you have convinced yourself......just the remaining 13,000+ dermatologists to go......

BTW, since you raised it...... Why don't you go study the data released today for yourself then compare with other drugs. The NAPSI AND ScPGA data aren't anything to write home about compared to TNFi or IL-12/23 or IL-17

So what can we say on skin before Derm launch? Nothing?
Rheums and Derms will laugh us out of their offices in PsA.....
All our competitors have skin data or skin benefits in their labels

:(
