I’m so sorry. My message was not to defend Zimmer in any way whatsoever. My point was Biomet was not getting killed by the management. It was a great company driven by great guys hired by a real leader. Zimmer bought Biomet because they wanted the products, culture and to be like Biomet.

In my territory the Zimmer rep got canned and the biomet rep took over. Guess it came down to who had the most business here as they did not get song, and to make another fun fact the biomet rep who took over hasn’t signed a non compete since and carrys more on the side then any rep I’ve ever seen. Good for him!
 
I came to ZB from another company and was excited about the move. So many options to diversify a portfolio. Unfortunately I never adapted to the culture and that made me expendable. There’s a lot to like about ZB but there’s a definite fear a lot of reps and managers have that prevents them from excelling. The company’s financial philosophy is short sighted and bonus focused. Because of that it can be difficult to cultivate team work and grow business. Come bonus time if ZB thinks they can save a few bucks by dumping you they will.

Get over it. You know the truth. We should have kept the Zimmer management (Cucolo and others) with the Biomet products. TLs from Biomet. Instead we brought idiots to Zimmer like you.

2015??? lol. That’s why we are in trouble at Zimmer, leadership still thinks it’s 2016 and they haven’t fallen apart from the top down yet. Wake up light bright, the last 5 years hasn’t been a nightmare, it’s real life and the jokes on you.
