Losing business is acceptable at acumed with the new sales leaders. But lower commissions and the same, old, tired products. They don’t know what they are doing. Hjalmar and Jimmy…time to go.
Going from next day 10 am shipping to 2nd day afternoon shipping for restock is a big hassle for the sales team.
But the savings will help pay for the extra layer of management.

Very true... except that there really isn't a focus with the skeleton crew remaining to "fix it." Marmon changed their vitality index from being based on revenue from new products to being based on how little is spent on product development. There is currently no plan on backfilling the product development positions left from the exodus of Osteomed engineers because the new index looks better when they aren't having to pay for employees or development.Stay ready, Sales! Quotas go up even as products break and the discuss the "R" word. All the experienced engineers and leadership at OsteoMed was let go. Now the internal team is in a spiral trying to "fix it". They had the solutions at OsteoMed but over 100 years of engineering experience was walked out the door. Out with the old, in withe new! I guess if it breaks it's a chance to sell a new one.
