Viiv

Yes, no wonder! Our leadership is lacking and has been for the last three years. People like the aforementioned AVP are just one example. Fink is another. Baxter yet another. Are any of you really going to argue that all three of those individuals exemplify leadership? I would love to hear your argument.

I believe of the three you mentioned, Fink is a leader. She is the most visible and at least has a plan. She made a mistake of monumental proportions by bringing on the injectable team. I cannot stress that horrific decision enough. But other than that she has been ok. As for Baxter, who the heck knows what she does! Other than giving us updates on quarterly results and sounding like Ms. Doubtfire she is a complete waste! There are only two AVPs when only one is needed. Andrea is at least professional and understands her role. Lee on the other hand appears to be in way over his head. Talks way too much and tries to manage everything and everyone. He never should have been placed in that role. Word on the street is that he was laid off as a field FLL from the primary care division. Apparently had a horrible track record. Then was elevated to AVP due to a couple of in house relationships.

Fink is the anti-christ. She's only concerned about herself and would drown a litter of kittens if it would further her career. She's left a trail of failure everywhere she's gone and has blown up more product launches and strategy ideas than Baxter and Waterhouse put together.

Fink was a nightmare at Novartis. Entresto soared as soon as she left!!

Reminds me of a cheap high-school cheerleader.

Not sure about getting a teammate fired but you got one thing right, litigation is coming! It's coming and nothing will be left untold. No matter how many lawyers ViiV and GSK have it won't be enough to combat the hard cold truth! If you are a person who has helped to put employees in harms way, you should be worried. Litigation has already been put in motion and its on a high speed train called the reckoning! Choo chooo! All aboard! This is what happens when you place unqualified people in managerial positions. Now go out to your driveway and complete that last set of Kegels! Squeeeeze!!

Remember the wheels of justice grind very slowly, but they grind just the same. GSK will hire the best attorneys money can buy. Covington, Ropes and Gray etc. They have been beaten because we all know the company has been corrupt, and most probably still is. Dot your I's and cross your T's, and expect retribution while the litigation is ongoing. No shocker here.

I hesitate to say this but...bring it!!! Retaliation or retribution, either way it puts GSK / ViiV in a bad position. Already dotted my I's and crossed my T's. I've made everyone..allow me to repeat..EVERYONE aware of what has taken place. If you know of the issue at hand you know that of which I reference and that I speak the truth. So while this will most likely end in a settlement, I am prepared to go to trial. However long it takes. It's already game on! My suggestion is that others who have been placed in harms way reach out to HR. Give the names of the individual(s) who have made these decisions. People will be terminated over this.

im not understanding... there are so many people out of work - we ALL have the choice to work from home- whatever you assume as pressure it’s not what is actually happening and there will be MANY people saying opposite of you in the same role. Maybe very beginning of COVID before GSK/VIIV went on lockdown in March they were Clueless for a week then got on board with all remote “options”.

If you chose to go f2f that is your choice. Why would you do something you feel is wrong just to get more bonus which makes no sense? It they placed you on a performance plan because you were remote that’s another story. But if you chose to that was your choice- good luck with that. Maybe a quick settlement because this is lame, what exactly do you think you will accomplish 20-50-100k then no future job ? What other company is doing anything different? Try not to be a smart ass and sarcastic in your reply.
How hard is it to make phone calls every day and try to do a veeva engage 1-2 times a week? They are ranked the same as a f2f

Here is an example of a timeline:

end 2001 - HR and security notified of illegal activity, and demands by management to sell off-label

early 2002 - security interviews witnesses

mid year 2002 - HR establishes illegal conduct by management, looks to be company wide, starts cover up operation

mid year 2002 - Person who brought to company attention shown the door.

Jan 2003 - Case filed in federal court

July 2012 - GSK pleads guilty

To #151. This is not a matter of not wanting to work or not being grateful for being employed. This is not about getting a quick payday. This is about inept, unethical, and egotistical leaders gone rogue! Leaders that have created their own personal way in which to evaluate reps. About leadership who thinks they can bully reps in order to fulfill some personal ego-trip. It's about leaders making you choose between your personal health or a poor performance rating. Enough is enough! We have no problem working and working hard! But not at the expense of our health, our families health and the health of patients and customers. This is not about money. It's about changing embedded toxic behavior of leadership within this organization. Unfortunately, litigation is the only thing leadership rally listens too. As I've said, it's game on. No turning back. Let's see how this turns out. The truth will prevail!

Enjoy your incredibly stressful life over the next decade, only to possibly get a minuscule settlement. The daily pressure will be immense . Being involved with this will also basically eliminate any future opportunities, not only at GSK, but in the industry.

the good news is we have way to many reps at ViiV. Maybe this will open management’s eyes to get rid of the underperforming, ungrateful half and let the other half do their job.

Thanks for the advice from GSK corporate lawyers on cafepharma!! You don’t scare us!

Did you use the word "opportunity"?? What opportunities?? Give me one example?? LMAO!!! As far a a settlement, that's not what this is about. It's about making changes to how management behaves. I'm not ungrateful. I appreciate the job I've been given. But no one at any company or industry should be placed in harms way. One other note, our company, both ViiV and GSK, are making a profit! It may not be what was projected, but we are making a profit!!! We are not the hotel industry. We are not the airline industry. We are not in the restaurant business. So there should be no rush to expose immunocompromised employees into harms way. And that's exactly what one individual has done. He influences other decision makers. He should be fired. And most likely will be. There will be no settlement and no day in court. Just plain old justice. Gonna give him plenty of time to hit those slopes and get his over inflated ego in check. Game on and game over!

Used to work for this individual in primary care. You would not believe the stuff he did to us!! Most too scared to report his misdeeds but he hurt a lot of people. Nothing would make me happier than to see him fired!!

I believe I know who you are speaking of. Word on the street is that he is being investigated by HR. He may not even be aware of it at this time but the investigation is happening as I write these comments. Remember, HR does everything in its power to protect management. But this person crossed the proverbial line. Based on what I've seen and experienced, he needs to be shown the door. His decisions and behaviors are not becoming of an Area Vice President. He's too immature and never should have been placed in the role he is in. Even if he is allowed to remain in his position, he has lost all respect from the field. RSD's and TAM's.

Word in house is a “major adjustment” about to happen at ViiV. Look for many less people selling and managing at ViiV in the near future. Projections/profits were so far off with 2 DR and management now is projecting far smaller use of shot. Look for 25-35% reduction early 2021 once a clearer date develops on potential shot launch. Good luck to all in this overly stressful time.

Nice try! Yes, 2DR has not lived up to expectations. However, we sell a portfolio of drugs that add up to over 4 billion in annual sales. Our entire company employs less that 350 people. The entire company!!! Marketing, government affairs, managed markets, sales and executives. Less than 350 people with annual sales of over 4 billion dollars. The injectable is coming and a prep indication in very short order. Will we have a downsizing? Possibly. But not at massive levels. Even then you will have early retirement packages offered to those over the age of 55. So relax chicken little.
