Hey. I am coming from another vaccine company that is "ENJOYING"(WINK,WINK) a new relationship with a much larger company at the moment.

My DM gave me the nod in April for this position and it has been pushed back month after month. I have watched industry sites daily to see any progress on Menveo. As of last week, I was assured that I still had a position but, the start date will be no earlier than November 1 and possibly as far as January 1. Not wanting to endure the badgering from internal candidates, can you(or anyone) verify the validity of this information if possible? I have a lot riding on this opportunity. Thanks.

Hey. I have been given a start date of November 1 and as far back as January 1. Is there any way that you could verify this, please? Alot is riding on this new job. Thanks.

For the person that asked how many years experience I have in vaccines? 5 years. I'm coming in at a level 2. 10% more money. Not bad. For the person that has alot riding on this opportunity. If you don't hear from your DM by Fri. Stay where you are. I've recieved my offer and the start date is not Nov. It's Oct. And yes, we will have move than just Menveo in the bag. Please!!!!!! Don't freak out. The negative threads are just from the SA reps. This is gonna be killer. To all of you that recieved offers today. Congrat's. And to all of you that didn't, good luck and keep trying. We will expand and in 3 years we will be the major player in this market. NO DOUBT!!!

I came in at a level 2 as well and my increase was 10%. I'm excited about this opportunity and for those who are trying - I was a pill rep and vaccine so don't give up.

Just got my verbal offer this morning!!!!! I am a level one. Start in October. Just happy to be a part of this and chosen as one of the 150 person sales force for the Vaccines division. It says something about us that we were able to secure this job in such a terrible economy and with all the competition out there amongst pharma reps laid off from all the big companies. This is a very prestigeous position that is going to afford me a very exciting and financially stable career! Looking forward to meeting all of you at training in Orlando in December!!!!

Only 1 year vaccine sales and have 8 years pharma/medical device sales. My 1 year vaccine sales is why I am level one rep (VSS), but I'm not complaining. Starting base was still awesome and now I have some place to grow within the division to Executive VSS and Senior VSS.

I just got my offer on Friday. I am extrememly happy. I have to say this is worth the wait. I am came in at Senior VSS and I am also looking forward to working with all those who made it on board. For those who did not make it, I sincerely feel your pain. I have interviewed for many positions and did not get them for seemingly no explaination. Good luck to everyone! I look forward to building this division with my future team!
 






You know what just really pisses me off though I IV'd back in March, made it to the RD, and then had one other IV with a few more RD's....I was strung along by the DM telling me I was a top candidate blah blah blah, and he kept in touch with me as far as updates go and telling me I am still in the running...Then he drops off the face of the planet and doesn't return my e-mails...Prick! At least have the common courtesy to send me a thanks but no thanks e-mail not just completely ignore me!

same thing happened to me! i feel your pain!! It is not a good feeling at all, but congrats to those that got offers!
 






Does anyone know what the criteria is to come in as a senior vss? I'm starting as just a regular vss and I have 3 yrs vaccine exp. I'm guessing that's on the low end - how much exp are senior vss's coming in with? I'm very grateful to get the position, but I'm kind of bummed to be starting at the same level as reps w no vaccine exp.
