What EXACTLY does Michael Muscara do over in Kalamazoo Michigan? I will tell you. He sits in his house, with pajamas, with coffee every morning doing nothing.

This complete laziness and lack of accountability is RAMPANT throughout Olympus management, all while collecting $275,000 per year from Olympus as an IDN AVP. He is supposed to be securing contracts with the large IDN's. Is he doing that? No way Jose. Not one contract has been secured. Why has Chadwick or anyone else above this turd demanded accountability? The answer is that they all protect each other! We really need to terminate people like MM, and Ed Chadwick who virtually do nothing at all and collect these ungodly salaries from Olympus. Why are sales reps expected to work their asses off for peanuts, while figureheads do nothing and make insane money with Olympus?

These guys have done plenty over the years. They’ve forwarded many emails, installed salesforce, laughed at bad jokes, Randy has stabbed his competitors in the back, watch out nacho! Think of all the conference calls they’ve directed, and all those meetings they’ve attended in Southborough and Center Valley. And of course I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge all of their many contributions to the men and women and other who make Olympus possible, their TMs. Risking their very jobs by going to the mat with Japan to secure more funding and greater input from the field to create and or find products that address the customer’s needs. Their heroic efforts to secure better compensation packages for the only people who determine whether the company lives or dies, it’s reps. Their commitment to reward excellence over nepotism. Their commitment to not be bound by political correctness or the latest societal whims. Let it never be said of this team of leaders they lacked vision or backbone or the ability to inspire by example, or convey legitimate care and interest in each employee. To do this would be a blatant disregard for the truth. My wish for Olympus is that they maintain their industry’s best practices for continuing to hire the best and brightest to take the organization into the future and beyond.

randy, who you pick to replace Nils will either lead to your success or be your downfall. If you select an Olympus yes man, ie Brian, that cares more about salesforce activities vs actual sales, there will be mass exodus. There are now great urology position available for reps to go to.
