FLMS and REPS will not know their fate until April 1. It is Very Big. We want Vasella back running this company.

April 1? Intentional irony here? I was laid off last year. I feel for all of you. MDs and FLMs and for what they allowed and conspired to allow to happen to people who WORKED, not so much. They protect each other ALWAYS.
 






BS. First, an MD would never be dumb enough to TEXT info like that. 2nd, you would never post that your DM just left you, after getting the text, and divulging that info behind the MDs back. That would pretty much identify you to your manager as the leak.

First of all it does not identify anyone "stupid know it all"... My manager told me the same thing he got word from MD for upcoming cc's over next couple of days!

What exactly do you mean about MDs and FLMs and what they allowed and conspired to happen? I was let go last year as well and this makes me very curious.
 




































To the OP: Thanks. This is pretty much in line with anything I've heard and I'm Inside. I really feel like a lot of my friends in the field are going to go (60% is big). Too bad. The only thing that seems up in the air is the amount of Weeks Severance. Is it a minimum of 20 and then the extra 2 months or are we in the 2 months now? What I mean is remember in 2010? It was stay home and get two more checks, then severance kicks in. It's all about how much you all can net when all is said and done. Thanks again to the OP. I know I'm safe, but this one is going to hurt. A lot of families will be effected.

Do they round up the year when it comes to severance? If you are close(within 3 months) to an anniversary, do they round it up. It would mean an additional 2 weeks severance for some
 
























It's a great severance! You Guys have it so good, even when you lose your job!!! So stop complaining and start looking for a good another one!
You don't even realized that most of the people who lose their jobs today, don't get a year of FREE medical and dental insurance! 20 weeks is really generous, especially if you were only in your position for a couple of years!

It is extraordinarily generous and far more than what many companies have provided.

I hope it doesn't have people holding out on severance and delaying job searches though as a new job will take ON AVERAGE 52 weeks!
