What was status of managers….how many displaced…what’s deal with “take buy out” or “take risk?”…..are these VERP packages
So, 40% of BDs are gone, and retained BDs will manage 22 reps?40%. Span of control 22 reps
If that's true, that's a bloodbathSo, 40% of BDs are gone, and retained BDs will manage 22 reps?
For once and for all SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!! Nobody wants you here, nobody cares what you have to say. You are an annoying pathetic low class loser!!!! Go eat some salad!!!It is possible to make 300k/year selling European cars in large metro areas. You stay in air conditioned dealerships and customers come to you when lease is up for renewal. No bringing breakfast, lunch, and snacks door to door to healthcare offices in August heat. No begging prescribers to entertain manager field visits. The representative get few stock options, 3% raises, then fired. What an opportunity to use your college degree!!!
Don‘t be stupid!!!! They will NOT evaluate ANYONE on ONE months of work.I'm guessing historical reach/frequency/CPD data would be used to evaluate Triumph reps.
What do you mean take risk? What was status of managers….how many displaced…what’s deal with “take buy out” or “take risk?”…..are these VERP packages
Sound like having to take severance and leave or “risk” interviewing and get no severanceWhat do you mean take risk?
I thought the managers were placed and did not have to interview? That doesn’t make any sense.Sound like having to take severance and leave or “risk” interviewing and get no severance

where did you hear about a buy out or taking risk? What was status of managers….how many displaced…what’s deal with “take buy out” or “take risk?”…..are these VERP packages
Well pending where a manager lives, there could be an area now that separated into a smaller district and doesn’t have one that lives close so it could be up for grabs?I thought the managers were placed and did not have to interview? That doesn’t make any sense.
22 reps?? Usually span of control is no more than 12. That is nearly impossible to manageSo, 40% of BDs are gone, and retained BDs will manage 22 reps?
Managing 22 reps would be impossible at most other companies, but considering the majority of BD responsibilities are delegated to reps in the form of “champ roles”, it wouldn’t be that difficult at all.22 reps?? Usually span of control is no more than 12. That is nearly impossible to manage
I don't think workday meant anything. How does this make sense if it’s shows PC1/2 as Diabetes/Neuro and Spec and Triumph as CMH? I thought we were dividing big someone said all thrown in together and 2 per territory? Just confused by what was on Workday.
Good point. When you think about it, why do managers get office days several days a week, yet reps can't even get a customer planning day once per month anymore?Managing 22 reps would be impossible at most other companies, but considering the majority of BD responsibilities are delegated to reps in the form of “champ roles”, it wouldn’t be that difficult at all.
This is an accurate description of how much work reps are required to do. Nobody will stay under the circumstances and you forgot the political aspects of getting promoted. If money is available and you meet requirements then you compete in a popularity contest by the managers on who gets promoted.Good point. If reps are in the field 5 days a week then managers should be as well. Not only do us reps have to do our day job 5 days a week, but then you have to add on champ roles (who has more than 1 champ role raise your hand), area calls, district calls, leading area calls, leading district calls, trainings, expense reports, mentoring, flying out to to Indy for DEI conferences, etc. Reps can't even get 1 day off a month to catch up anymore yet these mangers sit on their butts at home delegating all their work to the reps.
Like the person above said, managing 22 reps should be rather easy for a BD. BD's could have 1 field ride day per month, per rep. Let's see how much they would actually like being a BD after they are forced to be in the field
