Its going to be like it was when my relatives were what they called "detail men" several decades ago. Field forces of 400-600 reps nationwide, each rep covering several products. Maybe there will be an overlay of contract reps. Maybe.

AI may indeed reduce the need for reps, but the future isn’t here yet. In a lot of cases it’s more hype than reality. And until they can get rid of “hallucinations“ and ensure its accuracy, no health system is going to fully implement it.
