Its going to be like it was when my relatives were what they called "detail men" several decades ago. Field forces of 400-600 reps nationwide, each rep covering several products. Maybe there will be an overlay of contract reps. Maybe.

Age has zero to do with it. I have been hearing this bullshit for 25 years..and have always landed on my feet and almost always in pharma. These types of reorganization and trying new ways have been around my entire career. Stop acting like it's some revolutionary industry change. Plenty of biotech and start-ups who love people with experience and relationships.

Pfucked Up Pfizer’s management is so bad that they have no clue how to sell or manage. Worst place to work, best place to start a career in pharma. If you stayed here more than 5 years and never won an award, you become a Pfizer Cop Manager. That’s all they are capable of, damage HCP relationships in the field and act like arrogant fools. Especially the manager who has done nothing else; just like some teachers. Get the Pfuck away from this cesspool MAJOR changes coming!

"Relationships"? Oh, thats a good one. You're saying that because of your "relationships", you get all of 20 seconds in front of 3 high prescribing docs a day, four days a week, as opposed to our usual rep call load of two sample drops and a "How's that Eliquis working for ya, Dr?" during lunch a few days a week.
You can hide your head in the sand, thats your prerogative. But there hasnt been a year like 2025. Many blockbusters will be off-patent and the pipelines arent big enough to support these massive field forces. If you dont believe me, call your friends at BMS and AZ. Ask if theyre hiring.
