You would go after each division, how many labs in each division are there? How many lab employees and sales people? People will not mind paying dues if it will stop the harassment and belittling of employees.

Ever wonder why you can't advance beyond grunt status? It is no mystery to me why you are stuck where you are. Show some respect and appreciation to those who afford you the opportunities that you have.

There is not a large enough bargaining unit in any state to entice a union to enter into the cost of a union fight with a company with as much resources as LabCorp. And there is no sense complaining to HR your boss will find out and you will be retaliated against because your boss brings in the big dough and no one is going to fire him

Some unions will try to organize a small bargaining unit with the thinking that it gives them a foothold and further insight into a company where there might be opportunity to organize further.
 






Hello we have been through this in NJ the union cannot get you higher increases or better healthcare. All they can promise you is union dues. And do you think JJ can't win this fight too?

Whoever keeps putting JJ up on a pedestil is crazy, she may be AVP now, but we all know that those positions are replaced quite often, if JJ was so great her area would of nEVeR been in the position they were in for Union threats, we worked her NJ area, if CE ever saw how her sups ran things he would be appalled ... JJ needs to STOP commenting here on cafepharma, everyone knows it's her! Lmao... Like lab corps lawyers stated, a union ONlY comes into an area due to "bad management"... Made me chuckle ... Of course a union can negotiate healthcare! Vacation time, hours, lunches, process on letting an employee go. They can't make any promises but when a union strikes is when thr negotiations start..there is a good chance a union will win in PA

If all of PA Psts strike, LabCorp is done.. They need the psts to run the pscs.. Who would they get if all psts went on strike, JJ to do the job?? Hilarious... Consider all the contracts gone including our newest IBC... Raises are a joke, psts are not paid accordingly , the new healthcare for 2015 is appalling ... Better off with Obama care!
 






Management and "professionals" are not eligible to participate in a union. Sales reps are considered professionals.

The problem is the supervisors and sales and all other personnel does need a union, that's complete BS that the sups and sales can not be unionized, if they fight LabCorp they so can be in the union. Sups need protection too!

You have just proven why a union is necessary my friend. A cubicle nerd who doesnt have the first clue on what happens outside the walls of raritan and says they dont need to see a day in the life. Get a clue about reality instead of looking at spreadsheets and only talking with other people who dont leave raritan!

It doesn't take a spreadsheet to know that only the weak benefit form a union. The performers pay the price and carry the weight for the undesirables. Sounds like you a weak link needing help from your coworkers in order to stay employed.

Your superiors rose their level through achievement. Sounds like you are barely hanging on at the bottom. We have an outstanding team of leaders at Labcorp. You would be wise to learn from them. The path you are on leads to nowhere.
 






JJ you got where you are lying cheating stealing and back stabbing. One day when the legal department finds out you are staying at home and you really do not do much of anything and they will find out you may not know it but you are being watched. You will be caught and when CE finds out you too will be gone
