Town Hall Email....Are you on the list?

Delayed response last night at 7:18pm was a dead giveaway. They had to make sure everyone got an eyeful. Fist invite was real.

It's really insane how poorly Takeda has handled all this email invite madness. I for one am sick of all the interruption it's caused, i-pad constantly chiming invites, followed by DM telling us it's a virus, followed by our RBD sending a braodcast email to ignore yet another invite. All the while, nothing from HDQ!! Followed by DM spending more time asking about our concerns regarding the list?? Senior Mgt seems unable to provide LEADERSHIP and doesn't have the courage to come out and officially say the list is not accurate! Meanwhile, they let everybody twist in the wind until the final shoe drops. Nice, really nice!

Yes, I got all the email invites, but really questioning our company's leadership.

There were nameson the first list, 4 that I know of that haven’t even been with the company since September!!!

New list..Some if same names still there!

Unless you are a high level HR business partner, there are only 4...or above Glenn..ie BJ level, nobody knows or has leaked a thing.

THE ONLY THING WE KNOW IS IF YOU ARE IN BOX 1 or 2 on 9 box or have been put on a PIP or given a warning letter you will be gone. That is it!!!!

You all need to get a friggin grip! This thread is getting old! Control what you can control and get out there to start looking for a new job regardless of if you are on the list or not! Who knows, even if you are retained you could land a better, higher paying position. Imagine that-doing something to actually further your career instead of speculating on a stupid list! You sound like a bunch of immature high school kids. Are you really going to place your fait in a stupid list you may or may not be on thinking you’re safe or not? If so, you get what you deserve. Lord-if this is what the Takeda sales forces’ intelligence level is I’ll be glad to be let go and find greener pastures. And yes, they are out there if you know how to market yourself and work your network. My guess is most of you don’t since you’re on here acting like children! You can rip the legacy Shire reps apart all you want but as bad as I’ve seen at Shire I’ve never seen anything like this-even when we experienced lay offs years ago!

It’s after 3:30 on the last day of Feb w no email. My guess.....Lay-off has to be Friday Mar 29th - with email on Thursday afternoon the 28th. Probably gonna be huge!! It’s been fun, so long everyone!!

For real. Why not just tell us? Want to create more distraction? Just keep it hanging out there in the future. Poor planning imo How does it hurt anything to just be honest and say - we will announce layoffs on XXXX date? That's what Takeda did with either their first or second layoff, we had like 4 or 6 weeks notice on the date to sit by the phone. Seems like it was their first ever layoff in June 2010.

Every week they don’t tell us what our future is is another week I assume I’ll be unemployed so I job hunt, interview etc... and hopefully I find something better and it won’t matter if they retain me or not. You want to string me along-fine. But don’t think I’m not also stringing you along...

Truth is, you have to look out for #1 as nobody else will. Do unto them, before they do unto you. It's a 2 way street. Feeling is mutual. Help me help you. We gotta go out there and execute our game plan and give 110%. At the end of the day. You know what I mean? With all due respect. To be honest. Basically.

"with that being said".......these RSD's from the first list have to be nervous. Jennings, Atendido, Williams & WIlliams all probably knocking out $350-$400K year will have to say bye-bye to some serious cash for doing basically nothing.
