They went direct in 2 areas as non distributor areas temporarily, and have not "switched to Direct". Don't trivialize and discredit this forum any more than it already is by posting stupid inaccurate comments.
 












Confirmed axe of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb. What a train wreck. They had to buy them because they were losing their ass. Now the whole thing is falling apart. Very few of us will stay.

I resigned over a year ago. It was the best decision I've ever made, both personally and professionally. It's very nice getting paid more money, under a lot less stress, by a company that values my contributions. I'll have to admit, it was strange at first, but I'm getting used to it.

Guess what? There's plenty more just like me. If you haven't noticed, then you certainly aren't paying attention. Just add that to the list of things you should know but don't.

They don't care. Hiring Terry Rich was just another bad decision in a long string of bad decisions for a takeover with a really shitty business plan. Sad to have witnessed this so close.

The same reason that a car crash on one side of the freeway causes a traffic jam on the other. Sometimes it's just hard to look away from the carnage. Over the past 4 years, Tornier lost, pushed out, or terminated a lot of really dedicated and talented people in all areas of the company who were directly responsible for creating and maintaining the double digit growth years. It's sad to see them continue to actively destroy what was so hard fought for.

Well said. Easy to blame those VP and other urology clueless bastards, the real blame for this train wreck is the board of trust, a name they can't live up to.

Had they focused on what we were good at and left us alone we would have OWNED the shoulder arthroplasty market. Their foolish belief that the was company was built simply on a good brand and they could just throw money at already established markets, (sportsmed and foot and ankle), and grow it the way they grew shoulders.
For them, (soul-less bloodsuckers) people were never part of the equation.
 






Hiring GVU is like donating large sums of money to the nice guy foundation. On the outside, he's a nice engaging person, but some will learn his passive-aggressive ways. This is a message for those with integrity and courage.... Beware the tall balding man. He is NOT your friend.
