Chris Robbins is the Biomet Distributor

But Robbins (prior Tornier distributor) was being paid by Tornier to NOT sell Biomet shoulders until recently, so, you could still call him a Tornier distributor.

So I heard that Tornier might be getting rid of their distributorships and selling direct? Anyone else heard this??

I don't know about going direct, but today they handed out pink slips to the entire Houston staff. They're shutting down the site and moving all functions to MN.

SMI Ortho - they carry all of Tornier's products in Chicago. Steve Kaplan is the principal distributor. Think they cover some of Central IL too.

I heard the Smith&Nephew rep in Melbourne, FL is a distruibutor for Tornier? How does he manage that?

The worst by far is the Phoenix distribitor.
