Too much of a risk for Alzheimers Drug

Fear is the sign of a weak rep. Yes pharma jobs are largely year to year. Ask yourself is that any different than say an NFL player. The good players don’t worry about a Cush job where they can have sit on their rear ends and collect a pay check. They play for the season they are in without being paranoid about next season. They have the confidence that their talents will continue to give them employment. So to all the paranoid weak cry baby reps, get over yourselves and grow a pair! Damn

Somewhat true, but taking this job is like betting on the XFL

The risk is great, but lets think 5-6 months out when the virus is a distant memory.

Will hospitals allow reps in at all? How about the large offices that are already hard to see, will they allow reps in after all the BS about the virus.

Reps are going to face horrible road blocks to get into most offices. The public govt and insurance companies ae going to start to lock out all non essential personal in the big office and even the smaller ones too

You’re the typical scared low performing rep looking for a free pass. Grow a pair son! The days of the pharma gravy train ride are over. Damn

now is the time to add value. After my quarantine I’m helping out in one of my offices clinic. Mainly just going to see follow up easy cases...but taking the strain off of him as his staff eventually catch the virus.

Shit! Do you monitor this thread every 30 minutes? Everyone knows it is only you on all these replies. You are an idiot. More than likely you want to refute the truth and convince yourself as you have no other options. Just like a movie, this is no time to be launching a new product. What a moron you are. No one is going to want to see your ass for several months as they recover, especially with no product approved and more than likely delayed. Just when you thought someone couldn't be even more stupid.

"this is no time to be launching a product" ... ??! ... yeah, this is definitely the right time to be ignoring every other disease that mankind faces. definitely STOP bringing those people help they need and deserve. u privileged idiot.

Lmao.... desperate, scared , self assuming, and entitled whose enemy is the truth. Typical pharma baby.

Congratulations. You managed to wait 3 hours before posting another message. I agree with the other comments. You're creepy and sad

The pot is apparently calling the kettle black. I’m not the person you’re sparing with but your finger prints are all over this thread yourself. I say great if somebody does not feel comfortable pursuing the opportunity and great if somebody feels comfortable doing it. The worst part of this site is when people attempt to force their own narrow perspectives on other people. Live and let live.

Make no mistake. This is a huge risk. I work here and the Coronavirus is a perfect example of how this company operates. It is as if that isn't happening all around the world. Stop. Breathe. Think. Yes, Alzheimers is a disease state that desperately needs a treatment, but the results are marginal. The FDA will request more data and then what? Not like last year and new employees will be cut and displaced. The individual is not important here.

Agreed!

This is the first antibody tested where the people who had the greatest removal of amyloid from their brains also saw the greatest stabilization of their clinical decline.

Hmmmm what did you just type? We can't understand your complete lack of grammar.

Biogen has indeed gone from one of the original stout biotech companies 20 years ago down to nothing more than big pharma. All one has to do is look at the level of reps particularly over the past 5-7 years that they’ve put in the field. It’s a bunch of mindless primary care reps running around in their PODs. I’m sure this post will draw hate from their reps but the truth hurts.

Biogen will slash reps at a moments notice. I’ve seen my peers, that had great history and track record, cut with little warning. Biogen is not like many other Biotech’s in that they don’t value the sales force at all. Just be ready if you are going to consider this iffy position

Do you only sign for samples?

For 170k base I’ll take the risk. All pharma jobs are year to year anyway.
