Too much of a risk for Alzheimers Drug

anyone who takes this job with no guarantee of a job in 6 months is a moron. If ii is not approved by end of year, why would they keep the salesforce? your gone. there are better opportunities out there

Somebody did not even make it through the initial head hunter 20 minute phone screen. C ya loser boy. Lmao

is this your strategy for getting the job? convince everyone else not to apply? lol sorry, I'm still going for it!

agree. I think the hype around this Alzheimer’s division is crazy. The drug is not approved, not likely to be big even if it is approved and all the other stuff in the pipeline for Alzheimer’s is a ways off. So- unless you’re with a company that’s laying you off or you’re on a PIP, I can’t understand why anyone wants to do this. I think it will be a sub par group of people who just needed a job and not top talent. Just my opinion but based on what we are hearing they’re paying, none of us MS reps will want to come over there!

Please do us all a favor. Take a screenshot on your phone when you see this. Six months from now, you may be singing a different song. The FDA is going to request an additional study, perhaps two. No one has any idea of a PDUFA date etc.

At the very least.. this pursuit of product indication raises awareness and more funding and brings a devastating disease to top of mind. So at the very least increased awareness is being achieved. There’s never going to be a silver bullet with this disease state. Too many early lifestyle factors come into play that aren’t being managed at appropriate times and the horse has already left the barn before any doctor, patient, or caregiver knows it. By the time the disease manifests, there’s not enough time to undo it. Need a gene test to predict outcomes and early treatment management. Not enough money in that for Pharma. So, where do I sign up to sell this drug?

Regardless of the risk, hospital systems will be overloaded for many months getting over virus and this will not be on anyone's radar until full approval minimally. Biogen is being pretty foolish and need to think about their timing.

Biogen needs to take pause. FDA will be backlogged for months as priority number one is Coronavirus. Assumed timeline is completely out of the window and they will need to add at least 4 more months to their estimate if not more. Just stop

What is the PDUFA date? Can anyone answer this? Seems so odd no one seems to know any details. This opportunity has "No Go" written all over it. Very risky
I work here. The only way you take this job is if you are currently not working. This product will be delayed and has a small chance for approval. Biogen will not hesitate to lay people off at the slightest sign of adversity (they have done this numerous times in the past).

Thanks. That's all I needed to hear.

Blah blah blah..... pipe it down troll boy. So much hate and deceit in All of your posts. That’s not normal.

Exactly. Do you think for one minute this drug will be approved on their timeline? Not in a million years, especially everything on hold due to Coronavirus.
If you have to ask what do you do with new hires when a drug is not approved?
What are you doing in this industry?
Biogen does not care about you just like you do not care about Biogen. This is a job and the Pharma industry has made us into seasonal workers. It’s just business. If you don’t want any risk then go be a school teacher with summers off. Company folk here have warned about the inherent risk. Denial is such a powerful emotion. Maybe they should study a molecule for that. Best of luck to you where ever you land. There is no Panacea.

There is SO much truth here - please take note. Biogen does not care about you, it’s just business
