Anyone want to guess how many reps per DM will be cut? It's going to be ugly.

Pretty easy to figure out..72 divisions multiplied by an average of 8 reps..take how ever many reps we have now plus the 14 new energy jobs and subtract 575 or so..

Damn 44 DMs cut in total..19 from endo 14 from EP and 11 from Ewhu

I believe there are about 825 reps. Probably about 75 empty territories and 40 or so going to energy. Add and subtract a few here and there and that means roughly about 710 reps. So around 135 will be thrown in the trash. Happy Holidays from the new J and J. They wanted to change the culture- well they were successful.

I still say it will be higher. If you look at % reduction of RDs and DMs, it's +/- 30%. WHether you take 30% from 825 or 710- you get over 200 let go. It's not going to be pretty. Oh- and love the conference call to state the obvious...Come on Kip. Stop dragging it out!!!!

I thought it looked like he was scared shitless taping from a bunker, afraid someone would know his wearabouts. The whole "war" buzzwords during this whole project constitution has been a HUGE turnoff!! but explains the need for the bunker.

Standard J&J severance- 2 weeks for every year?

Only if the offer will stay open until next Thursday, otherwise it is far better to have a guaranteed job than severance.

You only get severance if you work until the end of November.
so take the job as it is unlikely you will be able to hold out that long. This is true info, just call HR and ask.
